The packaging caught her eye right away and she immediately knew it was a Barbie, the detail on the face is very sharp and the doll itself seems very well built. She was very excited to play with the doll and yet the collector in me wanted to keep it intact. I did open the doll box and let my daughter play with her new doll and use her imagination. The accessories were minimal and that was fine. The dress is a fun color and style, as are the shoes. The straps of the dress are clear so do not accidentally mistake those for the ones holding accessories on when getting those straps off. My kids really enjoyed this classic Barbie look. She has feet shaped for high heels, which kids love! Most of the newer Barbies have flat feet. The only complaint is all the rubber bands holding her hair down.
