It is about 6.5 inches tall, has a crown and necklace. The tail comes unattached, and you can easily attach it. The doll is durable and of nice quality. The crown is held in place by plastic tabs that can be clipped off if so desired. The necklace is not a painted on feature like the other mermaid dolls in this collection. The necklace wraps around the neck and cannot be removed unless you cut it off. We would have preferred it either be removable or be a painted feature. The doll also has a small hole in the chest where the necklace can be placed so it doesn&rsquo;t move around. Unfortunately, the tab in the necklace that is supposed to be pushed into the hole isn&rsquo;t long enough to keep the necklace firmly in place. The small hole is a bit of a problem too, for if you want to play with it outdoors or with water &ndash; debris or water can get stuck inside the hole. So much so that we had to buy one more. They are a new favorite! I love the vibrant colors, and the fun patterns on the tail. My little one is obsessed with all things Barbie right now, so this was the perfect addition to her collection. The one I received has very bright pink hair. My granddaughters loved her. She is a small doll as is she is a Chelsea doll. This would be great for a mermaid lover. My granddaughters play with her in the bathtub. She does have a very small crown and her tail comes unattached so definitely not recommend for very young children.
