She was excited she ripped it open and was surprised that everything matched. Her hair was purple, the bathing suit was purple and so was her headband. The accessories were blue shoes and a colorful skirt. Not sure what the reveal was other than the accessories. My 5-year-old granddaughter put her in water, both cold and warm and no change. She dumped her, swirled her, submerged the doll and she still look the same. After being in water I thought the color of her hair change from all purple to having a slight pink tint. My granddaughter says she was still the same. A few things she did notice was that the doll was able to stand alone, how pretty the color of her hair was and not having a brush to brush the hair. They play with them in the bathtub and take them in the pool with them. They really thinks it's amazing when the colors change. My only comment was that the first time they got wet there was a weird film on them and I had to clean them with soap to get it off. The color reveal ones are the most fun, and keep my child&rsquo;s interest the longest after the reveal. This doll comes in a container that can be filled with water so that your child can get right to work with the color change. The doll isn&rsquo;t part of a more deluxe set of accessories like the animal reveal dolls, but is still a great doll to purchase during the summer. The colors came off very easily once the doll was put in warm water and my daughter enjoyed watching the water change color, but she was disappointed because she liked the design on the doll better before it was washed off. It is always lots of fun for her to open the individual packages and find out what is in them. The directions seemed to indicate that cold water would affect the hair, but there was no change in the hair at all. The doll came with dark hair with some pink streaks. The accessories were nice but the hat would not stay on. The package was somewhat difficult to open but it was great that it included a plastic container for the water.
