The sounds and easy touch buttons make it for a good playtime toy. It keeps his attention and allows him to hear different sounds and songs. Made of hard plastic but realistic enough to mimic that of a guitar. The guitar is small and light enough to be carried around easily by kids. It has fun bright colors to help children know where to push to make music and sounds. My son loves that it not only can be strummed like a real guitar but that it makes fun animal sounds as well. My daughter loves to sit with it in front of her and try to push the buttons which is great hand/eye coordination practice! My son is 5 months and was able to play with it just fine even though the age says 6+ months. There are no real strings on the ukulele it's all touch sensors. It's obviously a little hard for him to figure out the modes and what they do with their combinations but that didn't stop him from pressing the buttons and jamming along with it. His giggle every time the cow moos is enough for me to give it a five star review. I love the touch features, they work incredibly well and the songs are the cutest. My daughter REALLY likes the cow sound. It&rsquo;s made of extremely high quality materials and it&rsquo;s not super light and flimsy like other toys similar to these can be.
