Red Light Therapy:
Studies have shown that Red Light Therapy aids the body in natural melatonin production. This is because the red hue of the light mimics that of the sunset, which informs our body that it is time for bed and to start producing melatonin. Melatonin is the key hormone that is released in our bodies that helps us fall asleep and stay sleeping. Exposing your child to Red Light before bedtime and throughout the night helps them increase natural melatonin production and thus helps improve the quality of sleep, conversely other hues of light (blue, white etc.) can actually disrupt your child's sleep. I went to plug it in and the red light on the back turns on but once I press it it doesn’t turn on the dream machine so all the other functions do not work.</span>

The red light is great and can be dim enough to use all night long. Diffuser setting is a Diffuser not much to say about it. All in all not worth the price point!!! Do not buy this.</span>

I haven’t bothered to try contacting the company because it was a gift so do not have the receipt so am sure they will not do anything about it. It looks cute, but that’s about it. The white noise is also very quiet.</span>
