- Studies have shown that Red Light Therapy aids the body in natural melatonin production. This is because the red hue of the light mimics that of the sunset, which informs our body that it is time for bed and to start producing melatonin. Melatonin is the key hormone that is released in our bodies that helps us fall asleep and stay sleeping. I haven’t bothered to try contacting the company because it was a gift so do not have the receipt so am sure they will not do anything about it. It looks cute, but that’s about it. I don't see why you can't use it for a 10 month old. I use it for my 2 year old and 5 year old. Definitely helps them sleep more soundly.
