Right now, it&rsquo;s a bath tub toy but he cannot wait to take it to the oool when it warms up! It&rsquo;s such a cute little toy and it shoots the water pretty far! The best part about it is that my son can do it all by himself! Other similar squirt toys we have own, have been extremely hard for him to hold the toy and pull the plunger to fill it up with water. My daughter is obsessed with baby shark and that is what she calls the shark. It&rsquo;s so cute. Not heavy at all but nice quality and easy for smaller children to use. You can fill a bowl or sink up with water or even just let it stream out of the faucet. Place the mouth in the water and pull back the lever/tail and once completely pulled back the sharks belly is full of water. Then slowly/fast push in the lever/tail and water squirts out. Toys Splashin' Splash squirt water toy. The water squirt that I received is a whale. The water squirter is about 7 1/2 inches long. The water squirter is made out of hard plastic and it feels well made. The handle you pull is thick and strong. The color of the whale is a light bright blue and white. All the facial features of the whale are painted on. Nothing is removable from the water squirt. To use the water squirter you need to pull back on the handle while the spray opening is in water. I found it a little hard to pull handle back when filling but not impossible. There are two holes on the bottom of the water squirt. The holes will leak when filled or when the water squirt has been submerged in water. I'm not sure the real reason, but I assume it is to empty all the water from the water squirt. I found this could be a problem because the water drips all over you if your not in water playing with the squirt. I found that the water squirt holds about a 1/4 cup of water. It was very easy to squirt water from toy. Just push handle back in. The water that comes out of the squirt is not to strong. The water did not hurt me when I was hit with it. The water squirt sprayed a pretty far distance. I'd say over 5 feet. In the bathtub he loves to squirt it at the wall to make splashes. He also likes to use it outside in water fights with his brother. The first few uses the pump is a little hard to push. After a few uses it loosens up and is easy for little arms and hands to use. The Squirts ae easy to use. Just put the front hole in the water and pump the back handle until filled with water. Then point and pump the back handle to get a stream of water to where you want it.
