<span itemprop="description">Bought the same bicycle last summer, my daughter loves it. Bought this one for at the cottage. Comes with the matching helmet and the bike is a reasonable price. Good size so it will last a couple of years for a 7-8 year old. Cool designs and paint (not too “princess “) but definitely still for a girl (with a little sassy in her) it’s also not too heavy for her and has a kickstand and sturdy chain guard. We easily added a simple matching basket, silver and pink handle bar tassels, a bell and LED lights. Very happy with the product and the store had it properly assembled and ready within 3hrs. Well done!</span>

No .. this bike is for ages 9-11 .. assuming that kids at age of 9 already know how to ride bikes , but you always can buy training wheels separately.
