They seemed to know who the character was well made and they enjoyed it. Would reccomend to a friend. He has had friends over to play with them several times now. They have fun trying to beat each other. One thing I noticed is the boys were switching men because it seemed like one was better than the other one. The one kinda slacking was the White Wraith Warrior so I suggested they switch after each match to make it fair. He thinks the characters are so cool. The controllers are really easy to use, I'm really surprised and pleased at how these cute little toys hold up, considering how rough my son is with them. Pretty sturdy and well-detailed, appealing to my 5 year old. To actually play with them as intended is very difficult, though. Even my 22 year old whom used to play with similar toys frequently had no clue how to use them correctly. He read the directions multiple times and the mechanisms to the toys were hard to use as instructed.
