It's just the right size for him to play with, not too small that hes constantly losing it but not too big that he cant easily take it around. He loves putting the blocks on the truck and taking them off. My 2.5 year old loved the firetruck but does not really keep her attention for very long. I was disappointed that it came with very few blocks, can't build really anything with them and the top of the firetruck will not stay on so my 2.5 year old constantly thinks she broke iui t when it falls off. I don't think I would buy this for my kid, it doesn't keep her attention for very long and not much to it other then it is a shiny red firetruck that moves. I did like the little fireman it came with. He couldn&rsquo;t wait for me to remove the packaging. He played with it all day rolling it on the kitchen floor and the carpet. The 6 mega bloxs pieces and Freddy the fire fighter are just the right size for his hands to place inside the firetruck or on top of the firetruck. The top of the firetruck comes off so that the mega bloxs pieces and Freddy the fire fighter can be placed inside. There are openings on each side so that his little hands can push the firetruck.
