Little ones learn the skills to become a Scooter Master with smarTrike's T1 Scooter! This 3 stage scooter adjusts as your child grows, allowing for gradual learning. The T1 is equipped with the one-of-a-kind patented T-lock system that locks and unlocks the handlebar tilt function based on the child’s developmental stage. In the first stage, little ones can ride seated as of 15 months, to develop balance and coordination. In Stage 2, the rider is standing and practicing forward-momentum, balance and breaking while the tilting (steering) feature is disabled. In Stage 3, the tilting function is engaged to learn steering and become a freestyle rider. <span itemprop="description">Bought this for my granddaughters 2nd birthday, she absolutely loves it and it is hard to get her off it. So do her older sisters. She is a bit taller than avg 2 yr olds so when she sits and glides on it she has a tendency to lean back lift her feet and makes it a bit unstable. I don't think it was designed for those fearless antics. but money well spent.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Hi, I got this last week for my 20-month old. He has been zipping around the kitchen all weekend and he absolutely loves it. He gets really excited to put on his helmet even. We have it on the shortest setting (with the seat) and he gets really excited, and even figured out how to go backwards. If you're considering getting it in the winter, go for it and use it as an indoor toy. Highly recommended!</span>
