Price match
We will Price Match the following brick-and-mortar and online retailers:
- Amazon.ca – item must be both sold and shipped by Amazon.ca
- Walmart Canada– item must be both sold and shipped by Walmart.ca
- Mastermind Toys
- Indigo/Chapters/Coles
- Canadian Tire
- Loblaws/Provigo/Real Canadian Superstore/Shoppers Drug Mart
We will Price Match items subject to the following conditions:
- The items must be identical, as determined by product name, appearance, and UPC.
- The customer must present a current competitor’s website, or print or digital ad, showing the price to be matched and the effective date – photos of in-store prices will not be considered.
- The competitor in question must have the identical item in-stock and available for immediate sale from the listed retailer.
- Price Match cannot be applied to marketplace or other third-party vendor prices.
- Price Match cannot be combined with any other Toys "R” Us offer, including coupons.
- Where a Price Match is applied after purchase, the customer must present their original Toys “R” Us receipt; the difference will be refunded by the same method of payment within 14 days of the original purchase.
Price Match excludes the following items:
Online exclusive offers; limited or minimum quantity items; limited time offers; bundled offers; percentage discount offers; rebates or free/bonus offers; advertising errors/misprints; close-outs; liquidations or clearances or rain cheques.
Price adjustment
If you find a lower price on our web site, instore or print, we will do a price adjustment.
- We will offer a price adjustment if we lower the price for the item you bought within 30 days of the purchase date with the original receipt.
- The item must be identical.
- We do not offer price adjustment on other retailer’s price.
Our price adjustment policy DOES NOT apply to the following:
- Offers with limited quantity/door crashers
- Advertising errors and/or misprints
- Special Sale prices including Online only offers, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Friends and Family or Boxing Day/Week
- Rebates or free/bonus/gift card offers
- Coupons/Saving cards
- Bundled offers
- Clearance items
How to request a Price Adjustment:
In-store purchases: Please bring your original receipt to your local store.
If your item was cancelled and you locate the item in one of our Stores, simply present a copy of the cancelation email along with the email confirmation showing the original online price and we will process a price adjustment at store. You can also place a new order once the item becomes available and submit a price adjustment. This is valid up to 6 months from the order date.
If the item you are requesting a Price Adjustment on has had a previous offer included on it, including a coupon, then the adjustment will be based on the price paid and not the original price prior to any deduction.
Return & exchange policy
A receipt is required for a refund or exchange based on the
details of our current Return Policy.
Returns or Exchanges will be given within 30 days of the
purchase date with the original receipt, except as stated below.
For a Return or Exchange, all products must be unopened,
unused in original packaging, in resalable condition and with the original
receipt.
We do not accept Returns without the original receipt.
No Returns or Exchanges on clearance (price ending in 8) and
trading cards,
Collectibles are FINAL sale.
Baby Products
Return & Exchange Policy applies, except as stated
below.
No Returns or exchanges on car seats and Travel systems.
We take the safety of children seriously and want to ensure
you receive a product that had no potential of having been compromised. For
this reason, we are not allowing returns of car seats and travel system. If
there is a defect with the item, please contact the manufacturer directly.
For hygienic reasons, maternity undergarments, bras,
maternity support belts, breast pump and potties that have been opened cannot
be returned.
Electronics
Return & Exchange Policy applies, except as stated
below.
All electronics must be returned in original, factory
sealed, unopened package for a Return or Exchange.
Seasonal Products
Return & Exchange Policy applies, except as stated
below.
Manufacturer defects for swing sets, inflatable bouncers,
trampolines, and battery-operated vehicles will be handled directly by the
Manufacturer.
No Returns or exchanges on Halloween costumes and
accessories.
Refund Method
If your original payment was made by cash, debit, credit
card or mobile payment, then your refund will be applied using the same method.
If you have a gift receipt, no refund will be issued. The
item must be exchanged.
Flyer ads
How to find an item in our advertisements online:
Most items printed in our advertisements are available online. You can easily find the item online by entering the product number or product name in the search box located at the top of every page on our site. The product number is a five or six-digit number noted on the ad next to the item. Example: 441775 or "Sophie the Giraffe".
Some pricing may vary between online to instore.

Electronic and environmental handling fee
ECO Fees (or the EHF - Electronic and Environmental Handling Fee) are fees collected on behalf of the provincial government. This is not a tax. The amount of the fee varies depending on the item and the province sets the fees annually. Toys"R"Us must remit the fee to the provincial government. The fee is used to encourage the reuse and recycling of electronics and it is currently being collected, where required.
Toys"R"Us collects this fee for the following items:
- All personal/portable image, audio, and video devices
- Cameras
- Radios, Stereos, and speakers
- Baby Monitor
- Other products as required based on provincial legislation.
If a product is returned to a store and refunded, the EHF is also refunded.
