<span itemprop="description">My baby loves this mobile. My infant has been obsessed with it. BUT: it stopped spinning after maybe 3 months. The music still plays and sound-sensor hears him some times and starts playing music again. The grip to hold it to the crib let's it tip forward but that's not a big deal.
All in all I'll still use it and it's cute. I just wish it still spinned.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My sister bought this a week ago for my daughter. She's only now showing interest in the mobile - it's so nice to see her enjoy it. It has sound detection for when baby is crying. It'll start up on its own as long as you have the on-switch selected. It's very gentle and soothing and the volume adjustments are amazing. The little birds on the base light up as well. We also got her the travel sleep owl and the baby genius sea dream soother, which are nice, but even on the lowest volume setting they are uncomfortably loud!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This has been the mobile that saved my sanity. Not only does it set up easily on her pack and play, but easily detaches and I hang it in my car for my baby to listen and look at it in the car, and it keeps her calm or even puts her to sleep. We have even hung it from her stroller while shopping.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I like this a lot but it doesn’t really fit on our crib (also purchased at Babies r us). It sort of tips over but just make sure it’s secure enough. It spins and plays music like description says. Very cute.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This mobile is a HIT. My infant has been obsessed with it. BUT: it stops being a mobile and becomes a non-spinning, singing machine after about 20 days. We have owned 3 of them, and they all stop just before the 3-week mark.
We've given up on replacing this last one. We still use it to calm our kiddo as we can turn it on when she goes down and then when she wakes up, the sound-sensor hears her and starts playing music again.
We adore that about this mobile... but we bought it for the spinning birdies (since she is obsessed with the ceiling fan-- we decided she needed a mobile)... and it just doesn't do what it was purchased for anymore. I contacted v-tech and they say it must be user error, LOL; it's not exactly complicated to figure out how to use it, so it has to be the spinning mechanism since battery replacements don't fix it.
I considered having it replaced once again, but it's been pulled from the shelves at my local store it seems [as of today]... so? Maybe it was a common issue.</span>

<span itemprop="description">For the price, this mobile is fine, but it has enough oddities that I wouldn't buy it again. First, the singing voice is bizarre. It's as though someone at VTech got their sister to come in on a Sunday and do her best to remember some kids lullabies. They also skew a little religious for my liking. Also, as the music progresses, it starts playing random bird, cricket, and water droplet noises. So right as your little one is drifting off to sleep, essentially this thing act as an alarm clock. Luckily, you can turn the volume all the way down to nothing. The weirdest bit is that, despite the timer being set for 10 minutes, the music suddenly starts playing again like half an hour later. It's woken my kid up a few times. All that said, the light seems to soothe and distract at bed time, and the mobile is cute and serviceable.</span>
