<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Son was so excited to try the Tobi Robot Smartwatch and he is loving the many amazing features it has to offer. Tobi has a cute ever-changing smiley face, funny personality and encourages children to be creative and playful while they learn.
So far his favourite things to do has been taking photos using the camera mode and playing the fun motion-activated games and the learning games. He is also showing great interest in learning how to tell the time now too.
It’s such a cute, stylish smartwatch, that’s splashproof and durable, so I have no worries about him wearing it out and about with us! It’s easy for him to use and choose the activity or game he wants to be involved with, so it’s certainly a hit.

<span itemprop="description">I charged the watch and the Tobi Mode is not appearing. I've updated the firmware (after some tricks to be able to update the firmware) and the tobi mode is not appearing. The settings page is not appearing too ( I can't even set the clock to the right time). The camera mode is not working because the buttons are not appearing.
Tremendously frustrated with the product.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have this to our daughter for Christmas and she loves it! She uses all aspects of the watch and its overall been a good purchase. Unfortunately though, the jelly band is not holding the watch itself in and it keeps falling out. It happens when she dances around the house, puts a jacket on, basically any random time there is even the slightest amount of movement. We have tried the strap loosened a but more than usual to see if it was the pull on the jelly around the front of the face but it made no difference. Love the features but one day she's going to lose it and that will be the end of Tobi in our house. I've been looking for a work around but haven't seen anyone else commenting on this issue.
I say yes to the recommendation but really, it's a maybe.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought this for my Granddaughter and all was working fine, Updated firmware and she loves it. After a few days the legs no longer move. They appear to try to move but immediately retract. Very disappointed that the no longer work within a few days of usage. Other than that she love the watch. FYI there is no obstruction of the legs .</span>

<span itemprop="description">I found it to be VERY big for my 5year olds wrist.
Otherwise it seems to be a fun toy to keep him occupied for short amounts of down time but get him up and moving at times as well with the step counter and dance activities.</span>

Its not like the videos or the instructions, there is no list of files to transfer, its an EXE file. I cannot even start the EXE because it tells me it requires .NET framework. Well, I already have the latest framework runtime and tells me that it requires 3.5. That version was released in 2007...</span>

<span itemprop="description">- The home/main button is too small and hard to press which makes it a struggle for kids to use.
- The user interface is poorly designed and confusing even for an adult.
- The touchscreen is slow to respond and laggy making it difficult for kids to navigate around.
- Build quality is poor, plastic scratches easily, etc.
- After 3 weeks of use, the watch will no longer turn on.
- Bottom line: Over-priced piece of junk, stay away from this toy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This Tobi Robot Smartwatch has definitely been the centre of my boys attention since they arrived! There are so many amazing features to explore and play with. Some of our favourite are counting steps, playing games, taking photos and the very very handy timers. The toothbrush timer has absolutely changed tooth brushing time in our house, the boys put the Tobi timer on and now enjoy this every day routine now! They are always in competition to see who has done more steps and snapping photos on their little gadgets. Absolutely amazing toy!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love that it encourages my daughter to move. She loves it. Design wise It's a little large. Its hard for her to put a jacket on or off without pulling the watch off. Function wise, there are two things I feel are lacking...
1) I wish we could look back at step count for previous days, we can just see a chart based on her goal.
2) for the messaging feature, I wish she could message me.
A parent app where you could track the kids activity and interactions would be great as well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My son said to me yesterday, I want to throw it in the trash. He was so disappointed in the watch glitching. We had just gone for a long walk to get steps and the watch periodically turns off for no reason, even after I updated the firmware through the convoluted process. When I turn the watch back on, still plenty of battery BTW, the steps are all gone. The look on his face, it's excruciating as a parent to watch. This was one of the Christmas presents he was looking forward the most. We have Kidizoom DX2s for our kids and they loved them just lost them and the robot face sucked us in. I do like this watch's always on pedometer which is better. If we could just get a product that doesn't turn off and lose our progress!
Turning off to charge and the button being so hard to work is bad design. Kids love buttons, this button is the worst.</span>

The watches are not compatible (sending does not work) with analogous L.O.L. watches, despite the seller's assurances that it is theoretically the same product from the same manufacturer (MGA).</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this little guy! It was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old, the day it came in the mail I ripped it open to play with it first lol. Tobi is adorable and interactive which is perfect for my extremely over active little gamer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish there was some type of ‘parent app’ so I can monitor and set limits for activity and what not throughout the day. I also wish there was a way for him to be able to message me. But even without that, tobi is a fun little friend that will help with schedule and activity. We have yet to check out everything but I’m betting we will love him more after we do</span>
