<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 4 year old son, who has been hot and cold on train sets over the years, hoping that it would spark some new interest in the ones he had. The good news is that he has been very happily playing with his train set since I opened the Tidmouth Shed. Unfortunately, the shed itself doesn't seem to be very exciting for him, and is often times left out of his track build. The Tidmouth Shed gets 3 stars because I'm happy with the fact that it connects to and works great with other brands of tracks, so our existing pieces from when I was a kid can continue to live on and be used. I couldn't give it anything higher than 3 stars though, as it doesn't bring very much to the table in terms of new enjoyment. The rotating center piece is VERY close to the shed doors and doesn't leave a lot of room to actually play - the doors themselves are basically on top of each other and opening one means blocking the stall next to it, which is frustrating me as a parent so I can only imagine how annoying it would be for a child. Overall, I think it looks like more fun than it actually is, but could be improved with some simple design modifications.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so excited to write the review for Thomas and friends wooden railway tidmouth sheds. It is made of very durable wood. It allows two levels of playing. It can hold up to 5 engines and includes Nia in the packaging. It is a great addition to any Thomas the train collection. Hours and hours of fun for my 4 years old.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Son and Daughter were very excited when the Thomas & Friends Wood Tidmouth Sheds arrived in the mail. The packaging was bright, colorful And easy to open. The quality of the toy was immediately apparent. Nothing felt cheap or flimsy. This feels like the kind of toy you pass down to your children. My son, 7, and my daughter, 3, had a blast playing with it for weeks. The only complaint came from my son who said he wished it came with enough track to make a small circle.
All in all it’s a great, high quality toy that my kids enjoyed.</span>

<span itemprop="name">Awesome “home base” for Thomas Adventures</span>
<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Todmouth Sheds is where so many of Thomas’s adventures start and end that it is known well to the imaginations of his fans. This version combines durable plastic and wood as well as a bunch of thoughtful play features that my boys loved to explore. It looks and feels like it will stand up to years of play and fit right in with our other Thomas and non-Thomas (Chuggington) sets.
The outside is bright and colorful, it feels torn from the pages of the books. Right away the boys had lines of trains waiting for a turn to get something fixed and knew just where to go when the conductor needed rest. Sometimes in sets like these a shed is just an empty space to put the trains, this is a thoughtful play place with functional zones for play from the conductor suite where he works and rests to the mechanical working tools for train repairs. My boys loved playing with each and have been busy working on their whole fleet with the tools. The connectors were easy to use and stayed solidly in place.
Thoughts on making it 5 stars: The inside could possible use a little color/stickers here and there to clarify what some of the devices and features are. The boys had to ask mom and dad what things were a few times. The bonus to the current way is that they’ve used their imaginations to decide what they didn’t know as well.
Two connectors was a nice addition but with four inputs it really should be four, we like most families have a lot of mixed tracks including Thomas ones but it is difficult to map a track route for all 4 holds without 4 converters.
Also the gripper says it can grasp blocks of wood but doesn’t include any. This isn’t something we had so including at least 1 might be nice.</span>

I love that it’s made from mostly wood so the kids can’t break it. They have played for hours using their imagination. We purchased the train track to make it a complete set and they love it. Would totally recommend this product to any parent of a child that loves Thomas and trains. I also love that it comes with a conductor. My kids just love this toy!!!</span>

The set comes with adapters that allow us to use it with a kidkraft wood train set we have. Lots of features including a train cleaning brush set. Only negative is the doors. They are so close together and open so far that when fully open, they block the track next to them. Fewer doors or having a stop on them would be nice. Great set overall!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a free item from Play, Rate, Review. I love Thomas and all of the toys that go with it. This toy is no exception. It is large, sturdy and full of interesting parts for every toddler or preschooler to play with. I love the size of this toy because it allows more than one child to use it. My son loved all the moving parts and I loved how the parts are easy to use and that my son was able to use it in solo play and did not need a parent's help. I find that usually toys with lots of moving parts fall apart easily and need a parent to continuously put it back together. That was not an issue with this toy. My sons favorite feature of this toy was the turn style for the trains and the doors that open and close. I noticed that even my grade school age son joined in on the play with his little brother. I think this is a great toy for children of many ages!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few weeks ago and my girls could not wait to open it up. They love the different doors for the separate train compartments and the tools to fix the trains. We do not have any other Thomas the train stuff so we were all disappointed that the set did not come with any train tracks to connect. It is a good set if you all ready have some other Thomas sets but I would not recommend this to be a starter set.
However, the quality is very good and seems that it would hold up for many years of playing.</span>
