These boards have awesome graphics from real skateboard companies that my boys really liked. The set comes with everything you need to assemble the boards and were easy enough for my 9 year old to put together without help. This toy kept my three sons (ages 6, 8 and 11) busy all evening after they got home from school. They enjoyed putting the skateboards together with the mini tool that came in the package and once they were all assembled the kids played so nicely with each skateboard. They were easy to manoeuvre and fun to play with. These definitely need to be assembled by an adult as it may be a bit difficult for 6-9 year olds to put together themselves. To my surprise both my 14year old and my 11 year old really enjoy playing with these. They both thought it was cool that they got a package that they get to build themselves. Both my daughters got to put on the trucks, wheels, even the board grip sticker. The kit came with the world's smallest screwdriver to get the trucks and wheels onto the deck, it's super handy and im so glad it came woth this screwdriver. Both my girls have been taking one everywhere they go. flipping it off the seats in the car, the shelves at the grocery store, and trying to sneek them to school. All of his friends have this cool finger skateboard toy at school but we had yet to invest in one. The packaging was fun, compact and easy for him to open. Once he did open it, however, he became a little overwhelmed at all of the small pieces and the fact that he had to put most of it together himself. This proved to be a bit difficult for him (age 9) even though the product is aged 6+ hence the 4/5 stars. We resolved the issue by making this a family activity which was an added bonus, getting Mom and older brother involved. My son was soon learning some neat skate tricks on the already assembled board while waiting for the others to be ready. The toy even inspired him to look up some YouTube videos on how others enjoyed their Tech Decks to get some tips and tricks. The details of the graphics look like the real deal skateboard designs, just in a mini version! Of course they weren't really interested in my review so much as that of my children. My kids were thrilled to receive this and eagerly opened it up. Of course, they weren't overly careful and little bits went flying. Be warned! Putting these together was a little beyond the abilities of my 6 year old but my 9 year old got right in there. He still needed a bit of help from his dad though. They found the sticker part of the board a bit difficult to place properly. The tool for the wheels worked well for the socket piece but wasn't quite as effective for the screwdriver. Once together my boys enjoyed pretending their fingers were riding on the boards. I personally didn't quite &quot;get it&quot; but that's why these are toys for kids! My sons said to give these a four star review because of the assembly difficulty only. Until now, he had only had the pre-assembled ones to play with. He immediately began assembling these and has been finding new things to jump and flip over for hours. He was able to assemble them entirely himself and best of all - no batteries or electricity required. The tiny screws and wheels do mean you need to be careful around very young children and pets.
