<span itemprop="description">Difficult to put up and latch can be a little stiff. However once installed and used a couple of times the latch becomes easier although the fate itself is still stiff</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this because we got a puppy and we wanted to restrict the rooms into which he could enter. It has honestly been a life saver. It's the perfect height so he can't jump over it, the door allows us to enter the rooms without letting him in, the openings are small enough, that he was never able to fit through them, although he tried, and the gate just looks nice and elegant.</span>

<span itemprop="description">So, bought this today last minute as ours broke at the top of the stairs. Our opening is roughly 38”. Maybe a little bigger.
IF YOU HAVE 38” OPENING DO NOT BUY
the thing just will not fit in the opening. Add the sections. Too big. Remove. Too small. In my opinion 37-39 inches are awkward.
The plastic insert is kinda cheesy and it doesn’t seem really secure as it seems easy to open.
Will be returning in the morning and getting a better one that fits</span>
