First of all they are not the easiest to install, I had to adjust them a couple times..but not a big deal. The worst faux pas would be that they are so cheaply made that the metal bends under any weight. My son is 45lbs and as he tipped over once it started to bend...he tipped again and it bent further and he fell. Highly disappointed with the quality and the size. It says it fits 12-20 inches bike. I try to fit on my son's 18 inch bike and it is giving us a hard time. It is atleast 1 inch above the ground from both sides. When my son rides the bike, the bike is inclining on one side. If I fit on the 20-inch slot, the rear tire of the bike is in the air. It took 2 days to install correctly because you are unable to tighten properly. Finally we got them tightened using other brackets but the quality is so poor that after a single bike ride they were bent out of shape. We can no longer use them as the metal is just so weak. Waste of money.
