The 4 in 1 design works as a sleep trainer, soother, nightlight and alarm that&rsquo;s super easy to set up and customize to you toddlers needs. Here are some of the features: easy to follow color cues and music signal time for bed, almost time to get up and okay to get up, this was amazing at nap time for us no more meltdowns, soother mode includes two calming sounds and a sweet lullaby, the nighttime mode comforts with three brightness levels, and alarm mode is perfect as your toddler grows offers a gentle wake up call with a sweet song and lights. It looks adorable and the idea behind it is just what I was looking for. I wanted something to signal bedtime by shining a certain color, stay on all night, then slowly let my child know it&rsquo;s almost time to get up by changing color again, finished by a &ldquo;wake up&rdquo; color. It changes colors for these occasions, but it shuts off after 20 minutes. So if he wakes up in the middle of the night it&rsquo;s just off :/ not what I was wanting. And it&rsquo;s entirely too complicated to program. Dream and Shine Sleep Trainer is super cute and would be a great idea, if it worked or was easier to program! We couldn&rsquo;t get the sound machine portion to work more than 20 minutes before cutting off and waking a kid! I&rsquo;m going to go back and try to reprogram, again. My son's bedtimes are generally around the same time (30 minutes plus or minus from 7:30pm), and he wakes up anywhere from 6:30-7:30am. I set a timer for bedtime at 7:30, but I don't think I ever see it on when I put him to sleep. I can manually press the button to turn it on though and I assume it shuts off after a while. They love the soothing sounds and it definitely helps to relax them. With having 2 older kids that I have to bring to school, I always hated having to wake them up. The alarm is amazing. It gently wakes them up so they wake in a good mood. The night light is also a huge plus. This thing does everything needed to help with routines. It's cute and catches my daughter's eye. It was very easy to set the time and set up. As far as the soothing sounds and lights go though, I had set the bar too high. My daughter does not like to sleep and has never slept through the night in her 15 months of life. I had hoped things would change with the sleep trainer. I've tried to turn on the nightlight and soothing sounds and the first few times it soothed her to sleep. However neither stays on, which I'm sure was it's intended use. She doesn't stay sleep either. As soon as the sound stops, she wakes up. It doesn't seem to help wake her either-but I think that's more her internal clock after being up multiple times through the night. I like how it has a timer so you can send it for 60 minutes It'll play lullaby music until your children are asleep and it shuts off on its own. I sent my child back to bed before the alarm and they fell back asleep, slept through the alarm and past the green light staying on.
