We are first time parents and, thus, have been experimenting with various products to discover what we like best and what seems best for our baby. Our baby is almost three months old. Within the past month we learned that she has acid reflux and allergies so feeding times were often very stressful, as they included fussing and figuring out what would make our baby most happy and comfortable. Our baby seemed to take to these bottles immediately. The wider shape of the top allowed her to easily latch and the soft breast-like feel of the nipple made her latch seem more comfortable and natural. Our baby seemed to fuss far less when using these bottles and, thus, we assume that the anti-colic vent was very helpful to her. One concern we had as parents was that, despite using the nipple flow specific to her age, she seemed to be able to drink from the bottles very quickly. Occasionally this seemed to trigger her acid reflux and other times it didn't. We bought these bottles because we can fit the different nipples on them. We LOVE the size of these. I received one 4 oz bottle as a gift and I love it. It helped reduce colic &amp; gas, only leaked once when the nipple wasn&rsquo;t in all the way, it is sturdy, never warped in the dishwasher. I wasn't able to breast feed and wasn't going to use the Phillips avent bottles at first, but then gave them a try. They worked great and preferred the avent bottles over the others.
