The nerf itself was pretty easy to assemble but does take some time to get to using. There is batteries required and getting the darts in right was a challenge at first for the kids. Once they got used to it, this nerf was hard to beat, the aiming is accurate and fast when used appropriately. The overall size of the nerf may be a bit much for younger ones however.</span>
