If you're a fan of both Nerf and Minecraft, the Nerf Minecraft Pillager’s Crossbow is a must-have! The build is sturdy and well-made, and it’s easy for kids (and adults!) to load and fire. I was impressed with how well it shoots – the darts fly fast and far, and it's great for both indoor and outdoor play. They have a huge collection of Nerf guns of almost all sizes and types. This Nerf Minecraft Pillager’s Crossbow was very appealing to my youngest who is an avid Minecraft fan. This crossbow is quite sturdy and good quality, however it took us some time to figure out how to use it. And then it took quite some practice to make it work in the way my boys wanted, ie to shoot the darts at a speed. It is obviously not as effortless as the Nerf guns are, so do not compare the two or else you’d be disappointed. Overall it’s a fun toy for young Minecraft fans.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Minecraft Crossbow Nerf gun is a fun and creative toy that sparks the imagination of kids, allowing them to design and play through various challenges inspired by the game. My children (aged 6 and 11) have enjoyed coming up with different target setups and obstacle courses, which adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay.
However, there are a few issues that make it less than ideal for younger kids. The priming handle is a bit stiff, making it difficult for them to pull back before firing. While this isn’t a deal-breaker, it does require occasional assistance from an adult.
Another frustration comes from the two small pieces on top of the crossbow that frequently come loose. When they detach, it disables the priming handle, and the kids are unable to click the pieces back together on their own. As a result, an adult has to intervene, which can disrupt the flow of play.</span>

The toy looks authentic to the game, and he has had a lot of fun playing with it. My son loves how fast and far it shoots. He finds it shoots accurately. It really shoots the bullets with a lot of force, so I imagine it would hurt if it were to hit someone across the room. Even though he loves the toy, he has found that it’s sometimes hard to get it it to shoot, and that can be frustrating for him.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d already reviewed this much-anticipated Nerf Minecraft crossbow but received additional instructions not included with the packaging or available online as to why the handle wouldn’t pull back.
So, I begrudgingly dug the previously disappointing toy out of the “eventually donate, but first hold on to this for 6 months in case the need arises to remove it from the pile” box.
After further inspection and instructions, a literal broken nail beyond the quick and a whole lot of sweat and swears early this morning, I finally got the handle to prime after using brute strength. But hey, now the trigger won’t release! No children’s toy, for review or otherwise, should be this painful for a strong, capable adult.
My son was so excited to see I was working on it again and happy I made some progress with being able to play with it, but ultimately decided he prefers the Nerf Minecraft Firebrand, which doesn’t require multiple sets of instructions or damaged hands.</span>

The crossbow has a revolving cylinder that holds 6 darts that are easy to tell apart from the standard dart because of the plastic piece on the end. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this toy felt durable enough, there's a second piece that's supposed to sit on the top of this crossbow that kept coming off the toy and after much wasted time trying to figure it out, I eventually gave up and left it off. My kids play without it. The reloading is easy enough for my older teens, but my younger child had a bit more of a tough time. The bullets shoot accurately and with enough force to keep my older teens amused but I wouldn't recommend it to unsupervised younger kids. I'm not as impressed with this crossbow as I had hoped I would be but with 6 darts its better than other crossbows available.</span>

My son absolutely loves this toy. It looks cool and hold 6 nerf bullets (although they are a different type the the normal ones). I would recommend trying to find extra ammo for it as it comes with six. It shoots pretty far and it’s pretty accurate for a kids nerf toy. It was extremely hard to reload at first even using parents couldn’t do it. I was so frustrated but then I realized that we hadn’t clicked the top part in all the way when assembling it (this took forever to figure out as it was completely unnoticeable which is why the three stars) and my son was then able to reload with ease. Awesome toy if your little one loves Minecraft.</span>

It is durable and shoots accurately while holding a good amount of ammo for a crossbow. It holds 6 darts which is plenty. The assembly took a minute to figure out but once it was done the toy itself provided tons of fun for my family. My only complaint would be that you have to use the special darts that come with it and can't use other nerf darts so don't lose the darts that come with the crossbow.</span>

It was very easy to put together and the darts work great, along with being soft and safe. I think the colors are very realistic to the game.</span>

It includes 3 foam darts to use so. you can have fun right out of the box. The bow has great force pushing the darts and its a great gift idea , the kids love it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minecraft is a timeless kids video game where they can create and explore in a 3D world. This Nerf Minecraft Pillager’s Crossbow really captures the design of the video game. The crossbow is easy to assemble, I would recommend making sure it is completely clicked together or you can’t pull back the priming handle all the way. The age is rated 8+ which is understandable with any toy gun item. Adult supervision and a good talk with children to let them know never to aim for the face is important. The toy is easy to reload but only has capacity for 6 shots. I do wish the product came with more nerf darts as children easily lose small pieces of toys. However this toy is overall easy to use and is a hit with the kids who love Minecraft.</span>
