It was easy to open and the ponies are so cute. I would recommend using tape on the hat if you are going to ware it but all in all the hat was fun.The chin strap was easy to tie on and did not brake the hat. It had two ponies and two chairs for the ponies to sit it. They loved the mystery of not knowing which characters they received, which makes the opening more exciting. The included elastic is super thick and it&rsquo;s too much work to turn the box into a hat. It looks like the kids are putting packaging trash on their heads. The little ponies inside and their accessories are cute. They were wrapped in tissue paper so I felt like it was a little mini pi&ntilde;ata.
