I played Pokemon as a kid and an adult and my oldest daughter 10, love it as well. Putting this ball together was delightful for the majority of it. Only recommendation, make sure to put it together on a hard, flat surface! Some of the building does not get secured together right away. The construction once all the pieces are on is very solid. The light on the front gives it a little something extra that is nice. My daughter and i have had fun playing with it. The stand you build is really cool as well. They said the instructions were super easy to follow and they loved the circle that lights up in the middle! The only difficulty they had was putting the two sides together, but they figured it out. The set contains enough pieces to make the set challenging and it made for a great afternoon project. This Pokeball took my 11 year old son a bit over an hour to build with a little help from his younger siblings. He did enjoy that it wasn't too easy. The instructions were nice too. They showed exactly where to place the next piece by highlighting the circles it needed to connect to. This was extremely helpful. The finished Pokeball is a little bit taller than a can of soda. I only wish the light would stay on longer. This one was challenging for him and kept him occupied for a couple hours. The coolest thing was the light up brick - I&rsquo;ve never seen anything like that before.
