The replacement pump they sent me is starting to have the same problems so I called them and they are asking for proof of purchase on the pump they sent me??? Don&rsquo;t waste your time. I planned on bringing the pump in style to work due to its small size. I've been using it at home to get used to it and it is just not efficient for me. I have been pumping one breast at a time to increase suction and it never empties my breast. On multiple occasions I have pumped with the pump in style, have gotten only a small amount of milk out but still felt really full, then had to pump after with my spectra to empty my breasts. I really wanted to like this pump- it is small and easy to carry, the parts are super easy to clean and assemble, and it is simple to use- it just was not very effective for me.&quot; First, the CSR I spoke with was so kind and super helpful. She made sure she was understanding what my issue was and tried several different things to troubleshoot. After deciding that the pump was possibly defective they sent a new one that came the next day. This new pump works great! The suction is amazing and I get the same output as I do with my spectra. The only thing I would want to change is making a clear flange set up. I pump until a few minutes after I stop spraying. With the current set up, I can't see at all- it is difficult to see in the bottle too until you are disconnected. There have been some studies that show that not being able to see can help production though so maybe it is beneficial. I had the older version of it in 2017 which was wonderful and decided to blindly get this with my second kid. Such a bad mistake and waste of my insurance coverage! This new pump does not drain you completely. My milk supply is not great even after replacing the connectors and tubing medela sent me! Some days the suction is low and other days it&rsquo;s pulling me. You have no clue what speed you are on. The quality is compromised with this change in design. I had no idea I can choose my breast pump and this was covered by insurance so I didn&rsquo;t do my research. My baby was born in April and I&rsquo;ve been struggling with my milk supply since then. I replaced the parts religiously, took lactation supplements, pretty much tried everything. No luck! Until another mom offered me to try her pump ! What a world of difference. This medela pump is garbage, on top of that I spent a ton of money on parts, and stressed over how I am going to maintain my milk supply. Tried this one with my second and was totally disappointed. The new flanges with back flow protectors are a terrible design. I could not get them to work properly. Luckily is still had my old pump and flanges. The pump actually stopped working. Went back to the previous version.
