It was able to be adjusted and was loud enough for in-home use. We also have a set fo drums at home so this went perfectly with making a band with friends. Thought it would be a perfect combination. Unfortunately, my expectations were a bit too high. The change music button was very difficult for him to press so he'd only get one annoying type of music. It didn't have a guitar feel and the projectiles seemed like it would be a good idea on paper but my son just spins the release lever around without caring about the single shot. I&rsquo;ll be honest the songs kind of annoy me after a while. The darts shoot nicely from it. I just wish it came with a few extras because the regular darts I had didn&rsquo;t seem to work.
