He takes it with him everywhere—it’s quickly become his favorite toy. I love that it reminds me of the old View Master, but with a fun modern twist. We typically lay with him as he’s watching them and he will watch about two or three before he falls asleep holding it. I love that. It also function as a sound and light machine, but he has yet to use that feature. He prefers just listening to the stories.
At just four years old, he’s already figured out how to change the cassettes on his own. He’s a little tinkerer who loves understanding how things work, so he’s always exploring it—and so far, it’s held up beautifully with no issues.
We’ve built up a nice collection of stories since we got it and plan to keep adding more as new ones come out. It’s been such a fun and imaginative addition to our home.</span>

My (5) year old has autism and he loves to look at books and pictures. He was immediately drawn to it and it was really easy for him to change out the books. He needed help with adjusting the focus but got the hang of it. The volume can be loud which would make it great if you are traveling and want to bring this on the go. It has the best nostalgic vibes and I wish there were more toys like this as I was equally as excited to look at the story photos and listen along. There’s also a built in night light and you can store (4) books all together but you’ll need a larger storage case as the one provided does not last long term. One of the little action figures kept falling out but all the others were great. Overall I highly recommend this product for anyone, and it would make a great birthday or holiday gift! This is THE perfect addition to your kiddo’s collection and I’ve already expanded my son’s collection because he loves the storytelling element.</span>

Nothing was damaged during the delivery. There was no foreign smell. The age is 3+, but in my opinion it is possible to include younger children. Cute toy design. The toy is versatile and effective. It is convenient that the toy is portable. The volume is good and it's great that it can be adjusted. The quality of the plastic is good, but it's hard for a 4-year-old child to use it on his own, and it's quite difficult to put and pull out the cassette. I also didn't like the fact that there is no way to adjust the tilt, and because of this, the picture can greatly distort if the viewing location is not good. I had to put up a pillow to lift the lens slightly above the base. In general, these are not big disadvantages and the advantages exceed them, so I recommend it! I'm taking off one star, for inconsistency with the description, the Story Baby Shark was not included.</span>

Our Experience
Right out of the box, the setup was simple. The machine comes with a few classic stories, and swapping out cartridges for new tales is easy. The projection quality is surprisingly good in a dark room, and the narration keeps kids engaged. It’s fun to see their excitement as the pictures appear, almost like a mini movie night before bed.

My daughter was SO excited when we set it up—especially when she saw it came with PAW Patrol stories. It’s been such a fun and entertaining way to wind down in the evenings. The projection is clear, the stories are engaging, and the whole experience feels magical for her.
I love that it came with a variety of books right out of the box, and watching her eyes light up with every new story is the best part. Definitely a hit in our home!</span>

It is so interactive and will make reading fun. This comes with 3 stories that are the pony little puppy, tawny scrawny lion and the saggy baggy elephant and one dog character for more effects. The camera has a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the camera there is a play and pause button, a volume up and down button and forward and back button. The camera uses four AA batteries which are included. I like also that you can use this camera for white noise and the little lights as a night light. You can place this camera on a table or in your lap to direct it at the wall or ceiling so you can watch and read the little stories with your little ones. The camera is easy to use you just slide the books in and out on side and place your little character on top. You can also purchase more books and characters separately.</span>
