It does need a bit of assembly (took me about 20 mins) but its very easy and just needs a screwdriver. It is great for learning how to pedal but with the security of the handle and also for giving him a little push when he gets tired. Also it’s useful that you can steer with the handle and it is a good height. Not too heavy and easy to manoeuvre.
Slightly complicated to build but we got there.
Looking forward to using it with my baby when they are the right age.</span>

Despite being plastic I was impressed with the quality and the look was not that of cheap plastic. The wheels are nice and chunky so I have high hopes for wear and tear.
The steering can be tricky however I found it absolutely fine on urban path walks which is what I wanted. This is a fun alternative mode of transport for the school run. My child is almost 1 and is exerting his independence so this is great for him. He fits absolutely fine and is happy and comfortable.
The canopy offers some protection from light unexpected bouts of rain unfortunately unable to offer an insight on summer weather.
Overall I am happy with the quality and build. Most importantly is that my son is happy and comfortable using this and I look forward to seeing him grow and the transition in use.
More suitable for straight forward urban walking.</span>

The pedals do not lock but lock so that a child cannot pedal and do not hit the child's feet. The older children have no trouble reaching the pedals.
