It walks, &ldquo;eats&rdquo; and makes 25 sounds. And in my opinion they are not annoying sounds. The feet are like those Easter walking chicks so I don&rsquo;t know how durable it is and also the leash is a ribbon attached to a harness. The harness itself is rubber and nice though. The fur is very soft but the mechanisms inside make it hard. The batteries that come with the penguin are for demo use. Once the batteries are changed the additional features will start working. This is a great present option for kids.
