The iron learns numbers as it will tell you to iron the shirt with 2 squares etc. The steam button sounds like steam. It also teaches circles , squares, and hearts. When you push those buttons it has you choose the matching item. She loves the iron and takes it all over the house and irons more things than it came with. The numbers on the iron are telling the heat settings and colors. It says lets get to work to continue playing. It is just an adorable toy teaching as they are playing.</span>

Most people I know don't iron their clothes regularly, and I definitely don't; so my toddler had no idea what it was. However, I showed her how to iron the tiny clothes, and mostly she just pushed the buttons a few times to listen to the crazy little voice. My 14-month-old is much more entertained than my 2-year-old because of the sounds, music, lights and talking. The little clothes that come with it are tossed aside and just became clutter after the first use. Overall, I think it's well-made and is entertaining for babies, but it's not a toy that any kid is going to play with for very long.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beyond excited to get this super cute little Leapfrog Ironing Time Learning Set because it is just the most adorable little ironing set for little ones that I've ever gotten my little one! Plus it just so happened that my little ones birthday was January 21st! So it was the most perfect gift & at the right time!
The Ironing set arrived really fast in the mail. It was not packaged well at all. Just thrown into a plastic mailer which caused the original products packaging to be crushed. The ironing set was okay luckily.
The LeapFrog Ironing Time Learning Set is really adorable! It comes with an iron that lights up, makes sounds & such. It also has 3 pieces of "clothing" that you pretend to iron! And each one is completely different & helps to teach our little ones colors & what each piece is & even shapes & numbers. And the best part is that my little one loves to play with it! Pretending like they're helping mommy iron clothes! It's great! Another great product from VTech!
I highly recommend this adorable little ironing set for all little ones. They'll surely love everything about it. I kind of wish there were more & direct pieces of clothing we could get to go with it that were sold separately. Who knows, maybe they'll make some in the future! This iron is really made well & I know it's safe for my little one. You honestly can't beat it. It's another great product from a brand we all know & love! What more could you ask for!?!</span>

She also uses it as an addition to her dolls and irons all of their clothes. This toy is very well made and very educational. It can also be used by girls or boys. I think they are excellent for kids not only to play but to start to learn things work on motor skills and sights and sounds.
