<span itemprop="description">I missed the opportunity to purchase the older ones so this was a day one buy for me. This set is really good and is minifigure scale which looks great on display. My only concern is the Commander Fox minifigure. It does not have a waist cape (they are printed now) and the visor is the wrong color (supposed to be black) the body print instead of red is more pink and that is kind of annoying. Apart from that this is a very good set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The gunship colors are great, but it really is lacking in its design. I am very disapointed that this design doesn't have ball turrets on the wings as a gunship normally does. Not onlt that, but the gunship is smaller compared to models previously. This leads to the carvo area being crampt and unable to hold many clones as it should. The worst part of the set has to be the minifigures. Commander Fox is a disaster. The printing is all wrong and the color almost looks pink. I am very sad that lego didn't put effort into making sure the details of this figure were accurate.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Cool but missing so much. The first thing that strikes me is the relatively small ship with a big price. No pods, doors are wrong, stud shooters, scale is off, and missing many key features of the gunship that would have been simple to add like the missiles for the top, double-doors, and so on. I would have preferred a normal looking, play scale, w/ good detail, gunship.
The figures are okay. Haven’t seen Padme and Palp for awhile. Not a fan of the holes in the troopers helmets. They look very odd and always catch my eye in a bad way.
This is okay. It just lacks so many of the things that make a gunship awesome like accurate features, sizing, and a reasonable cost.
The last version was far superior and cost less when adjusted for today. It’s definitely difficult to find true value in the cost of Lego the last few years. It’s always less for higher cost now and this is the most profitable toy company in the world. You would think fair-value would enter the picture somewhere but unfortunately not.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The republic gunship is my absolute favorite star wars ship, and was very excited to here about this one because it was a twist on my favorite ship, yet this ended up being a disappointment. Commander fox is red with pink because it looks like there wasn't even enough paint used to cover the red. This is also absolutely tiny you can barely even get counted to fit in the gunship the interior cabin is so small, and if you want to fit more than 2 clones in you have to pop off the wings to get them to fit and even then fitting 6 is tight, could easily get 10+ in all the others. It's an absolute dwarf of a set, and we lost a lot of fun features. The underneath of the cockpits has always had a fun play feature, with ball guns, (or in the show some have spotlights) and the back ramp is absolutely tiny, if you opt for no clones and try and force a speeder like the old ones had, it might fit, if you're lucky.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Despite the overall truncated dimensions, this set successfully represents the gunship's aesthetic. So much so, I'm hopeful this set's design will serve as a template for other versions of the gunship to be released in the future. Sure, Commander Fox's printing leaves a lot to be desired. Very unfortunate to have the white on his chest come out looking very pink. The other mini figs are great. Would be nice to have a bit more space inside for storage and perhaps play. As an AFOL, I'm not too concerned with the latter, but can see the potential for other audiences. The single doors on both sides don't bother me at all. They function quite well and look nice. This is a play-scale set after all, aimed at a generally younger audience. So there are inevitable compromises many adult collectors will notice and gawk at. High marks on the overall accuracy vs the source material. The size is great for display. Which is primarily why I bought this set. I'm happy with it. Roll out additional iterations, please?</span>

<span itemprop="description">I own an older, bigger version of the regular gunship. I also own an older, bigger version of the at-te set that shares the same price point. The commander Cody makes the at-te worth it for me and the ship build makes this gunship worth it for me. This set is not without downsides, the Palpetine and Padme figures are cool and from a story standpoint it absolutely makes sense to include them, however i personally would have been fine with just clones. Or maybe just clones and either 1 or the other of the senators. With the at-te build I was upset with the size loss compared to my previous version, and the build was cool but not that great or sturdy. This set however has one of the most sturdy builds I have seen from a Lego ship of any size. I was beyond impressed and thrilled to see the cool puzzle like effect of the support pieces. You would build a section and end up with a random piece hanging out, only later to find out it connected to an upcoming section in a very unique way that bonded the sections but also added incredible structure. I’m not kidding when I say I think this is the most sturdy Lego set I personally own. When it’s done it feels so dense and sturdy in all the right ways. I was so impressed I test dropped it 3 times from various heights because I was sure it wouldn’t explode like most sets. First 2 drops were perfect and the 3rd the door section unclicked but that was the only damage. Clicked it back in and was ready to roll again. I bought 2 more just so I can build them again later on down the road. Very awesome ship! Definitely much smaller than previous versions but the design makes up for it. Mini figures are decent and I enjoy the clones they came with but overall I think the figs are the weekpoint of this set. Basically, if you’re buying just for the clones then you may be disappointed. If you appreciate a good build then this is an amazing buy! Maybe even buy the limit so you can make a little fleet!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Au niveau de personnage quelques erreurs sont à noter : la figurine du commandant fox avec un plastron rosie et une erreur de disign, le visage de Padmé qui n'est pas le sien mais celui de Jyn Erso.
Au niveau de la canonnière rien ne va, pas de place pour mettre tout les personnage (en hauteur et en largeur), un vaisseau trop petit par rapport au ancien exemplaire, les lanceurs qui sont présent à mon grand regret, la trappe à l'avant ne cache aucun engin.

<span itemprop="description">Dissapointed compared to the 2013 gunship, it’s smaller, is missing figures like pilots, and has no seperatist droids to use with it. Also missing features of the previous gunship set like the speederbike and has no ball turrets which are one of the cooler features of this ship.
Fun set to build but for the hefty price tag it should have more figures and definitely come with some more internal/external items</span>

<span itemprop="description">Kind of disappointed that the gunship doesn’t have two sliding bay doors on each side like past models of the gunship or much room to fit minifigures in the bay. I understand with a smaller build that it makes those things more difficult to accomplish. I do appreciate the Coruscant red color scheme it looks really nice and the build is good. As far as minifigures go I wish that Commander Fox’s chest print was show accurate and that you guys would go back to giving clone commanders cloth kamas again. The holes on the side of the clone helmets are inaccurately placed as I’m sure you know. I wish you guys would fix that, it looks odd. I’d give it an 8.5/10 overall. Could be better.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall I like the gunship although it's very lacking in interior space and extra functions. My biggest complaint is that Commander Fox is pink. the torso print for the mini figure came out pink. it doesn't match with the legs at all because of this. And the helmet holes on the regular shock trooper make the shape of the helmet and the print always seem slightly off to me. I miss
the old P2 helmets that didn't have the holes.</span>

<span itemprop="description">While I love this set, I still think it could have been just a little bit better. The main thing that could have it better is of course the bubble turrets on the wings. Although I don't mind the stud shooters replacing them. I also kinda wish there was a clone pilot or two with this set, but already know Shock Troopers do know how to fly a LAAT.
While I wish these changes were implemented, that is not to say I disliked this set. From the moment I saw the first leaked image I fell in love with this set. As a longtime Star Wars fan, I had to get my hands on this set. Even though I still have the older 2008 set sitting in pieces at my house.
Oh the other thing I like about this set, is how long it took to build. As someone who's building legos for about 20 years, I thought this set was gonna take me an hour or so to build. Boy was I wrong, this set took me 3 hours to build, and I loved that. I personally think the best part of having a lego set is building it.</span>
