Wife there's a huge book showing all the steps the amount of missing pieces in each of the bags is shocking. My wife had to raid my Star Wars advent calendar to find the right pieces and she has to substitute colours and raid my spare pieces Now she is building the external panels and now it's looking awful as you can't hide the missing pieces now. The only negative I have is how fragile the build feels, I like how the panels come off to see inside the ship but it's fragility makes it very scary to move. On the up side we moved out of our house recently, and because it's so fragile I just went ahead and disassembled it completely. I was really excited to build this set and the packaging and general presentation is of a high standard. I enjoyed much of the build process however, once the set is built it is impossible to move around. The set is by far the most fragile set I have ever owned to the point where I consider it not fit for purpose as there is absolutely no chance that you could play with this set without it falling apart. Very, very disappointed and frankly wish I hadn't bought it as 1) My set has pretty much fallen apart and need to be rebuilt however, there seems little point in rebuilding it when the same thing will happen given the bricks do not hold together 2) I would not sell it as I wouldn't want to pass the feeling of disappointment on to another Lego fan. I opened it up to look through and I knew I was going to need a lot of time and space. Unfortunately I broke my shoulder and arm a little while ago and since then I&rsquo;ve had to use one hand for building but I know this set will need full attention so for the next few months or even year I still won&rsquo;t be able. But I knew it would be a challenge even getting it into the car involved some thought. On the shelf you see the front of the box and when the shop assistant is edging it out you see it&rsquo;s just as deep as it is wide. Even buying a set like this is an experience. There has been talk of this set retiring soon and everybody knows what happens when they do.. it will be impossible to get hold of due to postage or pickup if you can locate one and obviously the price will go up like mad. So if you can afford this or see this on offer go for it. To me this looks like one of the best collector series sets there is -it&rsquo;s not just for display, there are features you can play with, change and a decent amount of minifigures though I thought for a classic themed set they should include an R2D2 minifigure, he&rsquo;s always with C3PO. There are design changes you can choose like the minifigures and satellite for modern or older period millennium falcons which is nice and like most of the collector series sets there is a good amount of reading material, some history of the millennium falcon and movie related information in the instruction book. Like all big sets you get these white boxes inside which are needed to hold the shape of the box with all that Lego inside and even they are elegantly decorated with graphics and each of the boxes have a classic movie line written on them. In my photos attached I have shown the amount you get inside one of these white boxes but the bags are randomly packed so you have to open them all to gather the numbers you need but the whole set even the packaging is made to be kept and loved by Star Wars enthusiasts. I&rsquo;ve taken a few photos of the position I am in so far with this set.. not very far unfortunately.. but it&rsquo;s exciting to even have a look in this box. I can see it&rsquo;s going to be a long journey and a journey I&rsquo;m not yet ready for because of health reasons but I can&rsquo;t wait to start it. My little boy even loves this and I think it would be such an experience to let younger builders in on a set like this to share the journey with and help them learn too. Great to build on your own too if you both the place to yourself but it&rsquo;s a set you&rsquo;re going to want to show off at least once. I&rsquo;d say buy this to anyone before it&rsquo;s too late. It includes features that would suggest it&rsquo;s for playing and enjoying, but it&rsquo;s so extraordinarily flimsy that, should you ever want to enjoy any of these features, that panel, and every panel nearby, will just fall off. And if you succeed in putting those panels back on, you&rsquo;ll probably have pieces left over that came off in the process that you&rsquo;ll never be able to correctly place again. Having just about every external panel be removable (why?) means there are massive panel gaps, and the panels under the ship are secured by &hellip; magic? I have dreamt about owning this set for years and now wish I never bothered. I&rsquo;ve never been so disheartened by a build experience. The internal frame is so sturdy but that build philosophy doesn&rsquo;t translate to the external panels. And the reinforcing the bones of the ship require to support everything limits the space inside for the two interior sections. So they actually aren&rsquo;t to mini figure scale &hellip; so why bother? I&rsquo;ve had to repair and rebuild this thing so many times and I haven&rsquo;t even finished it yet. There&rsquo;s difficult builds, and then there&rsquo;s just poor design. And this is the latter. Many of the top panels are held on by just one flimsy peg or worse, GRAVITY! For the amount that this thing costs, it should have been much sturdier, and the parts and panels should have WAYYYY better attaching points that are on there solidly. The floor of the set feels like it's barely hanging on for dear life, and the top panels are held on by the weakest attachment points you could imagine, if they're held on at all. If I could go back in time, I'd tell my younger self to not purchase this set because it needs some serious overhauling to make it more solid. I know some might say, &quot;Well glue it together&quot;, but I refuse to use &quot;the craggle&quot; on a LEGO set. The build itself is split into 17 sections all with 5/6 bags full of Lego. I would spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon completing a section with a cup of tea! This personally made it worth the money as this build lasted me over 3 months. From previous reviews I can see people had parts missing, that was not the case for me. Attention to details is key with these big builds! Make sure your put the technic pieces in the right places to avoid any headaches down the line. Talking about attention to detail - Interior is just as good as the exterior. The different rooms with the details is amazing. The panels are loosely placed on. If you take them off, your either need to put the back in the same sequence to make sure they all fit back how they should. I&rsquo;ve managed to wall mount mine using a designed fixture which I&rsquo;ve 3D printed. With some slight modifications to the panels to make sure they don&rsquo;t fall off, this looks amazing in the office! The build includes incredibly inventive build methods and unique pieces, with very little repetitive work. The ingenious build does leave a bit to be desired in order or assembly, fragility, and complexity. My biggest word of caution: If at step 126 the front of your MF is in any way bowed...stop and re-examine how you got there. The genius clipping mechanism lulled me into thinking this slight bowing was fine and allowed for some flexbility in the build. 500+ steps later I was proven wrong and taking the ship apart, thankfully mostly in large component chunks until I'd worked my way back to step 126 where I found what seemed like a minor mistake that completely altered the build going forward. This isn't a build for anyone with a sense of slapdashery or lack of focus. And when it comes to building the ship's bottom and top components, be aware that they don't snap into place, but overlap one another slightly, often loosely, which makes moving this beast an even bigger cautionary tale. As such the landing gear are some of the weakest parts of a somewhat fragile build, thus making mounting or displaying that much more careful. The details are spectacular, and once I solved my error and rebuilt the components, the remaining aspects of the build highlighted a build that was challenging, genius, but cautionary. The final product is a stunning replica of science fiction movie ship history. It's huge. It takes a lot of time, patience, and attention to build. It requires space to display it. But once you've dive in, from the first step to the last, it is an absolutely incredible building process. I stretched it out and spent 1-2 hours per day for a month, which made the cost worth it. The building techniques are so unique, and it's a lot of fun to see how it all comes together. In the end, you've got the best Millennium Falcon model you could have. The level of detail is astonishing and really rewards looking at it up close. I recommend displaying it vertically on the Efferman MOC stand for maximum effect. So happy I got this, worth every penny both for the building experience and for the fantastic showpiece you have at the end. Five stars, hands down the best Lego experience I've ever had, and I've been building Legos for over 30 years. Get it, you won't regret it - just make sure you have the time and space to build it and somewhere to display it! And a light kit and display case really make it pop if you want to show it off. Digging in, found the set challenging and full of detail. That being said, I am a little disappointed at how the panels seem to just &ldquo;float&rdquo; on top of other panels not really being attached at all. This makes the ship very fragile. I enjoy the smaller falcon better which has the hinged panels for opening.
