I bought it for my daughter who is a huge Ninjago fan and she loves it. It can spin on just about any surface, even outside. Depending on how you angle it, it can spin in place or very quickly in a large circle. She has the spinner for Jay also and enjoys having battles with them, and they can take very hard hits. My daughter liked all the comic style pictures in the manual. Has a place for the ninja to be placed inside. Has a pull assembly to put together. And place on top of spin top. Then there. Is a pull cord to spin it. (Something like a zip tie hard. But it round.)
