<span itemprop="description">I recently completed the LEGO Indiana Jones-style limited edition set, and I have to say, this is one of the best sets I’ve built. As a set that’s geared toward adult builders, it took me a couple of days to complete, and I enjoyed every moment. The intricate building techniques involved in this set really stand out. While some sections were a bit fiddly and challenging, that only added to the satisfaction once I completed them. This set is definitely not for beginners, but experienced builders will love the complexity.
One thing I absolutely loved were the Easter eggs hidden throughout the build, referencing past LEGO sets. Discovering these clever nods made the experience even more enjoyable, adding an extra layer of fun for long-time LEGO fans. It’s clear that LEGO put a ton of thought into every single piece, and the level of detail is truly remarkable. Every brick feels like it’s been deliberately placed to create something special, and the craftsmanship really shines through.
The playability is another standout feature. The set is packed with interactive elements, making it more than just a display piece. It’s fun to build and even more fun to engage with once it’s completed. Plus, it looks absolutely stunning on display.
With LEGO soon discontinuing this set, I believe the price is more than justified, especially considering the quality and number of pieces included. If you’re lucky enough to find it at a great price from retailers like Smyths Toys Superstore, it’s an absolute steal. This is one set you don’t want to miss before it’s gone from shelves!
My only minor wish is that the set came with more minifigures or perhaps another scene to build, but that’s just me being a little greedy. Even without those, there are plenty of bricks to make the price worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this set to any LEGO fan looking for a challenging and rewarding build experience.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I was a little kid, the original LEGO Indiana Jones theme was my favorite thing in the world. I couldn't get enough of them, even though I really only got LEGO sets on my birthdays or the holidays, and probably the largest one I got from that line when it was in stores was the Peril in Peru set. I owned both LEGO Indiana Jones games, they were my favorites for years. I was thrilled to learn that new LEGO Indiana Jones sets were coming out and couldn't get my hands on them fast enough.
As far as this set goes, it's probably a better display piece than a playable set. There's really only so many ways you can place and pose the figures without issues, but the moveable parts like the boulder and collapsing part of the temple are really cool. The figures are also quite nice, with Indy, Belloq, and Satipo all receiving good updates from 2008. My only real complains are that we only get one Hovitos warrior, and Jock the pilot and his plane are completely omitted.
After I built this set, I ordered the parts to build Jock's seaplane based on the original Temple Escape set's instructions, to make the set complete.</span>
