<span itemprop="description">New to Lego, this was my first purchase in what was an impulse buy I didn’t regret.
The build itself came in 25 segments, and no pieces were missing. The build itself was very enjoyable and straightforward. What makes it is the detail that they’ve put in, from the pizza, the ticket in the bin, Buzz’s girlfriend (woof!).
There are a few nice playful features as well.
My only gripe if I had to raise one is that the rooms are rather small so whilst finishing the build it is very easy for bits to fall off, for that reason ‘playing’ with it is difficult and is therefore a display item only. Also could do with fixing the Xmas tree, which doesn’t fit the base well and falls repeatedly.
All in all though, would thoroughly recommend and it’s wet my appetite to invest in a few more sets.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Solely writing this to highlight that there’s just too many missing pieces.
In total I was missing 3 pieces throughout. The first replacement arrived really quick, the next piece I ordered and after 2 weeks it hadn’t arrived (still hasnt), so I just improvised as it wouldn’t be seen as hidden in the roof.
The last piece I’m missing though is from the very last bag for the treehouse build. I’m fuming that I’ve spent so much money, finally get to complete the build and there is a missing piece. I know there’s a lot of bricks in the build but it spurs the enjoyment of having to pause building in the hope you’re replacement brick gets sent- this isn’t one I can just improvise this time.
Overall the set is amazing and there’s so much detail involved but for the price- you don’t expect these hiccups.</span>

A few weeks ago I saw that Lego had this kit in stock again and I ordered one there and then. It arrived in perfect condition and I have throughly enjoyed every minute of this build. The detail is amazing and the thought and planning which has gone into the whole thing is fantastic. Lego have captured the whole film inside of one kit. <span itemprop="description">The very small number of low star reviews says it all. This is a truly great set. I actually agree with many of the negative comments regarding playability in the low star reviews, but on balance, all things considered, i agree with the vast majority of reviewers that this is a five star product. I think we can sometimes be a little too fussy and expect the lego designers to actually achieve the impossible when it comes to playable functions - they are limited by the range of pieces that exist, and by the limitations of scale. My 11 year old son wanted this set, and enjoys playing with it with his brothers. I think sometimes he just enjoys looking at it as a display piece because it looks so good! (larger than you expect, when it's complete). The ability of the house to open up like a dolls house is just a fantastic feature, which not only makes play time easy, but just looks lovely visually. The amount of detail is amazing. The only comment I would make is it would be nice to have more minifigures (not necessarily the whole enormous family, although that would have been great).</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was my first ever lego purchase and I'm so glad I picked this up! The set was very easy to build with very clear and easy-to-follow instructions in Kevin's Battle Plan. The easter eggs were an amazing surprise and great to discover as the build developed. The only minor suggestions would be to have a door on a hinge (similar to that on the ground and first floor) for the back two rooms to make it more accessible. Additionally, I am not able to work the light brick without removing te furnace altogether, this would have lended itself nicely to a lever or something to that effect to allow this to function without the need to remove the whole section.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I saw this set come out I knew I had to have it. My fiancé (who doesn’t Lego) even lit up when she saw it. We purchased it together so we could have it as a Christmas display piece and it was a hit. We ended up getting a custom light set for it also and it brought it to the next level (which I don’t get why Lego hasn’t gotten into this area themselves yet).
The build was fun and only felt repetitive when doing the walls. Even then it was fun to see how it came together. The details are impeccable and we had fun watching them pop up along the way.
The playability of this set is good too if you are into that. I personally am not but I still found myself recreating scenes from the movies and talking in their voices while doing it.
It’s for sure going to be a fun piece to pull out every year for the holidays.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Jai hésité a la commander vu le prix. Mais elle vaut le coup. Il y a tous les détails du film, cest super bien fait. Elle est tres jolie, la tyrolienne fonctionne bien. Je l'ai prise pour moi en ce concerne la fabrication et pour mon fils pour le jeu. Mais le jeu est un peu compliqué. Cest trop étriqué, tout tombe, les chaises, bougeoirs, lampes.... surtout pour les gros doigts des adultes. Je passe mon temps a tout remettre en place. Avec beaucoup de patience on peut quand même jouer avec. Tout y est sauf la douche, remarque de mon fils.
Et petit bemol, j'aurais aimé avoir en plus en figurine le pere et le grand frere dont la chambre figure dans la maison.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I'm an adult who had never touched a Lego prior to December 2021, when I purchased Home Alone as an early Xmas gift for my teen and husband, who are fans of the film. They were not super enthusiastic about starting the project, so I thought I'd give it a go. I couldn't believe how fun it was! I had a blast building it and was continually amazed at the build process and level of detail. The finished product is a showstopper. My husband and daughter did stop by on a daily basis as I progressed, which made for some fun family involvement. It being my first ever Lego build, I opted to take it slowly and carefully, doing one bag at a time beginning Dec 1, which essentially made it into a Advent Calendar, completed right before Christmas. Fun! This set turned me into a total Lego fan.</span>
