I am fortunate enough to have them all and like many on here I eagerly look forward to the announcement of the newest model. I say this because I was a little dissatisfied with this set - mind you I have given it 4 stars, so it’s far from a disaster. The interior lacks, with the exception of the baby dinosaur, any wow factor. Well that said the ironic Easter egg buried under the floor of the Brickasaurus got a big smile and the interior and build of the curators office worked very well as do the columns on the entrance and the blossom tree. Value for money - given Lego have no licence fees to recover I can’t help but compare this to something like the Nanjago City Gardens for around £40 more you get some 1600 extra pieces, real design pop and overall something that leaves this looking a bit ordinary in relation to the price tag. In summary the set is a sold 4 star experience but I had hoped for something better. This set not only pays homage to the wonders of the natural world but also showcases the incredible attention to detail and ingenuity that LEGO is renowned for. One of the standout features of this set is its impeccable design. The architects behind this LEGO creation have captured the essence of a natural history museum with stunning accuracy. From the grand entrance to the intricate exhibits, every element mirrors the grandeur and educational spirit of real-world museums. The use of various LEGO elements and colors effectively brings each section to life, making it a visually striking display piece. The set is not only aesthetically pleasing but also offers a delightful building experience. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable construction process. The attention to detail is remarkable, with small touches like tiny dinosaur fossils, ancient artifacts, and realistic plant elements adding an extra layer of authenticity to the overall design. One of the most impressive aspects of this set is its educational value. It serves as an excellent tool to spark interest in natural history, paleontology, and architecture. The inclusion of minifigures, including a curator and visitors, adds a touch of realism, allowing builders to recreate the bustling atmosphere of a real museum. Furthermore, the LEGO Natural History Museum set seamlessly integrates with other LEGO sets, providing endless possibilities for creative expansion and customization. This compatibility enhances its appeal to both collectors and those who enjoy creating unique LEGO landscapes. In conclusion, the LEGO Natural History Museum set is a triumph of creativity and ingenuity. It not only stands as a testament to the capabilities of LEGO as a brand but also serves as an engaging and educational building experience. The Lego dinosaur is impressive – detailed and captivating. It's the centrepiece that adds a hole new feel to the set. The Natural History Museum Might be the best modular. Whether you're into Lego architecture or just love the look of the sea, this set has it all. and it's a fantastic addition to any Lego collection. Five stars well earned!
Date published: 2024-01-01

Rated 5 out of 5 by QueenTrainedBear101 from Saw who broke the pottery ! I had a blast building this set. Amazing details, and building techniques. I can't wait every year for the modular building to come out. I love buildings with intricate facades, and this one does not disappoint. It is by far my favourite theme. I hope and wish that lego will release again building like the city hall, the fire brigade, and the bank building, since I missed those, and I would have loved to have some of those in my lego city collection. Also I wish lego would release two of these a year.
Date published: 2023-12-31

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr. Me from Nice build It was fun to build. However I am missing roughly 4 different pieces. And no, I cannot contact the team about it, because I did not buy this set. It was bought for me. So I'm out of luck for lego's mistakes.
Date published: 2023-12-29

Rated 4 out of 5 by ElatedShark092 from Great Fun... With a Lull This is our 15th modular build. We build every year and this was no exception - the release date being moved up actually helped our holiday schedule a lot! Thank you for that! The build was split between myself and my wife. We both love to find the special LEGO Easter eggs and the story woven in from past modular builds. We love the stories and care that the designers include and understand the growth of this treasured line of legos. We don't get bent out of shape by the risks that some builders can gripe over such as color selections, piece count or the minifig numbers. Those are understandable decisions that happen in the process - However this build has a few "missing pieces" in the sense of opportunities lost. We loved Assembly Square the other large build so much because of the details and variety of story telling. The boutique hotel similarly packed in alot as an anniversary set looking back and also forward (if you looked closely). This set wanted to really celebrate LEGO's history but there just seemed to be a few details missing that could have put it on the level of the previously mentioned builds. I have no problem paying the few extra dollars for the premium that these sets generally offer - please in the future throw in the few extra details consistently across the entire set that raises the bar that the modulars have been known for.
Date published: 2023-12-29

Rated 5 out of 5 by PrincessAttentiveWu100 from An amazing build The build is amazing and the level of detail is incredible.
