As they built together, my eldest spoke about what goes in the recycle bin and they both had fun putting it together as well pulling it apart to create it "their own way". We were all impressed with the colours of the set and there is enough pieces in there to entertain both ages. Definitely one I'd recommend and get someone else for a gift. Overall it's a cool set and my little one hasn't stopped playing with the truck making "brm brm" noises around the house.</span>

The instruction booklet was easy for her to understand and she felt very pleased with herself that she was able to put it together all by herself just by looking at the pictures.
Once assembled it became a great way to talk about recycling and make real world connections to what we do at home. She enjoyed “collecting” the rubbish in her truck and then taking it to her “rubbish dump”. She loved the “doggie” and thought it was great that it could ride in the cabin with the “person”. We had a lot of fun exploring the topic of recycling and playing together in an imaginative way with this product.</span>

This caught my sons eye as soon as I gave it too him. He liked the images on the box and was excited to open it. The blocks were easy to hold and manipulate for a 4 year old. I'm sure children younger would have no problems in this aspect either. The instructions were easy to understand for him. He continued to look back at the box image for guidance and to see if he was making it properly. He did say that he wished there were more pieces to put in the rubbish bins. Overall I think think this was a good Lego product.</span>

He’s been so obsessed with watching the trucks go past on bin morning, so this set will keep him happy on the other 6 days. It’s great for role playing together and I’ve found that his little imagination is just taking off while using this set. I love that it has the different pictures of recycling categories that go with each bin. The set up was very simple, though carers will need to help little hands. I did find the broom an odd choice as it doesn’t sit simply with the truck and is pretty small to have around with little kids. Overall I think this is the perfect intro to Lego for my 2yo, he keeps going back to play with it all throughout the day - which is huge for a toddler! Definitely a winner.

He’s currently really loving garbage trucks so this recycling truck set was perfect for him. It’s the first toy he goes for in the morning & has been playing with it all day. He’s been filling the bins with the right colours & talking about the pictures on the ‘rubbish’. He loves the sweeper & uses it to push the rubbish around & puts it in the drivers hands. He drives the truck around & empties the back of it with the recycling inside. Honestly hours of fun & really great way to teach kids about what goes into bins. I really like the feel of the material that the 3 bins are made out of too, nice & soft. My son did struggle a little at first opening & closing the bin lids but after a day or so they’ve loosened up enough that he can do it on his own now. Highly recommend!</span>

My daughter had a blast with each of the individual parts, like driving the truck, opening/closing the trash cans and putting things in them, and taking care of the lady driver. My daughter also enjoyed playing with them all together, and I liked that the instruction manual provides pictures for a story to develop and discuss related to the recycling truck set. I really appreciated the LEGO® DUPLO® Recycling Truck provides opportunities to have some great play conversations around cleaning/picking up after ourselves, the importance of recycling and looking after our environment, and that women can pursue any career. The toys were easy to put together, take apart, and clean. We also really enjoyed adding the recycling truck to our other Duplo toys, which has created a wealth of story and play options. I look forward to playing with my daughter with the recycling truck set for many years.</span>

My 3YO son was mostly able to put this together himself, with some prompting from me.
He took to the little bins straightaway, as well as the dump tray of the truck. The product also allowed me to start having some excellent conversations with him about recycling. Including how we paper, plastic and glass can all be broken down and used again to make new products to reduce the amount that ends up in landfill.
This is an excellent toy that seems like JUST a toy to a kid, but that also provides excellent learning opportunities as well. A win for child and parent!</span>

At two and a half years old I don't think she gets the consept of recycling but it's good Colour matching and good small motor skills of putting the bins on and off and opening the lids. The dog it cute and adds extra play. She likes sweeping with the boom too.</span>
