I thought having an added bonus of a pencil pot gives more purpose to it. My son needed a little support putting the rocket base and thrusters on to the white pencil pot. My son loves that he can add a picture to the rocket and can decorate it the way he wants. I would not have purchased this set if I knew the picture was not included. I generally prefer the creator and modular sets. I left my two daughters to build this kit for me. The finished product will look great in my classroom next term; sure to be a talking point fit a bunch of 10 year olds. It took my girls half an hour to build including their unique design on the front. I will use the fact that I can change the design as an incentive for pupils in my class next year....win win.
