yes it comes with a book of examples of things you can build using the parts in the box and it also has some other instructions online. This is a great box as it includes more &quot;special&quot; pieces than the other generic boxes (like the walmart 9000 piece box which is basically all rectangular blocks with no wheels or special parts.
