It took him an hour and a half to build the whole thing and he was able to do most of it by himself with minimal help by me with getting some to snap on. Once the set was done, he played with it for maybe a day until he started taking it apart to build other stuff with the legos. Legos are the only thing that keeps him entertained for hours.</span>

We had so much fun building this and playing with it to we enjoyed that there so much actual functional parts and different ways to interact with the set. The animals it comes with are super fun for him and great quality as well. The set comes with lots of pieces, but the sections are individually in separate packages so your not confused or searching for parts. the instructions are very clear to understand.
