<span itemprop="description">Bought for the 7 yr old grandson. He built the set by himself with no problem. He loves the motorized aspect of it that he can control. The train goes backwards, forwards and different speeds. He plays with it for hours.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is my second motorized set (the lighthouse was my first) and it is super fun. It took me about two hours to build the whole thing going at a slow pace (my cat likes to be very involved). None of the builds are too complicated so anyone over the age of ten could probably build it on their own. The train can go much faster than I was expecting which is very fun. My sister and our cats were very entertained watching it go around the loop. We plan to design some of our own train cars and then put the track around the bottom of our Xmas tree.
My only complaint is very minor. The overalls for one of the mini figure do not match very well between the top and bottom.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Looks expensive when only considering price per piece, but it includes the bluetooth controller, the train motor and the battery pack that can also be used on other models such as the tramway in last year's christmas model. Very nice to have a train with 3 wagons for a change. I haven't tested it yet, but I think the car wagon can carry models from the older 4-studs Speed Champion line, before they changed it to 6-studs wide base. The branch on the track also increase the overall number of track parts as well as providing a Y-switch.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Why did Lego stop making the electric trains. These go through batteries way to fast and that just helps makes land pollution worst with all the dead batteries. The electrics were much more eco friendlier. Think about the now Lego users future for clean land.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My 7 year old saved his birthday and Christmas money to purchase this set. He is a very advanced builder for his age and he completed this build quickly, by himself (he let me sort a bag!) We love the attention to detail- the way cars enter and come off the car carrier, the crane operation, and the easy connection to other Lego train sets. The engine seems powerful compared to the passenger rail set and can pull ALL of the cars from both sets. This gets played with daily and holds up very well, even with occasional train wrecks!</span>

<span itemprop="description">A really good train over all, (my first one, and a great one) with very few bad things. The train's size is great (3 ft long) and each car is very usefull and cool, with pleanty of tracks (Over 4ft by 2ft). Only things are the price (although still acceptable), storage, and the crane grabber can't open. If you want to release the cargo that's being grabbed, you have to do it manually. Kinda weird, and maybe im just missing something, but overall a really really good giant train.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My 6 year old son had this for Christmas. Great build and he loves playing with it. We bought some extra track which allowed more options of layout.
Couple of downsides, batteries, 4 AAA for the controller and 6 AAA for the train, you can use the app instead but a rechargeable battery pack for the train would be better as with reasonable play batteries don’t last long.
The train bumpers are not fixed very well and can fall off easy when attaching and detaching the carriages, this mainly affects the main train which my son finds frustrating.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We love LEGO in our house, it’s the majority of what we get for birthdays and Christmas.
I knew this needed batteries, however, I wrapped it before paying attention to the box and went online looking for how many and what type it needed. I couldn’t find it here, so looked at Target’s website, which says 4 AAA. That’s what I bought, and here on Christmas morning it needs 6 more. Please list this more clearly in the product description so that other parents don’t end up like me without their kid able to play with their new toy on Christmas! It’s in the reviews, but that’s not where I’d think to look for what batteries are needed, nor should it need to be.

<span itemprop="description">This is my 3rd cargo train from lego city, i already have the 2014 and 2018 cargo trains in my collection and love both of them. I bought this to add to my collection as i love lego trains, i love cargo sets and this is both. There are tons of features in this set, hours of playability. It is compatible with only half of the cargo sets as the pallets are not standard across all cargo sets. I experienced an ever so problem but this was fixed immediately by lego and was the first problem i have had with lego, i have been collecting for 15 years.</span>
