<span itemprop="description">I have all of the other recent Harry Potter sets (except the huge Diagon Alley) and this is one of the most disappointing for me. It's the first Art set i have bought, i like the concept but i think the prices are way too much to buy casually. Really like the look of the Mickey Mouse one, but i'm more of a HP fan so had to really get this one instead, seeing as it's unlikely i will buy more than one of these. The biggest problem i have with this set is, i just don't think any of the 4 small crests actually look any good at all. The big one looks great, although i would personally have the background around the crest all black instead of all the checks and weird gold swirly bits. Would try to change the Ravenclaw section too. But there's no way i'm paying the money to get 4 anyway.
Also, i'm not keen on all the bricks being studs and not flat plates. I may be wrong, but i think all the other Art sets have flat plates, flat definitely looks much nicer. Pretty poor to use the cheaper studs, presumably because one of the colours hasn't yet been made into flat plates, just to save a bit of money.
I also don't think it's a great idea, at a time when everybody is trying to reduce plastic waste, to make people buy 4 sets to build the large crest thus ending up with probably thousands of unused pieces. Not to mention all the unnecessary packaging for 4 sets, when you could just sell a larger set seperately. All at the same time as getting publicity for developing recycled bricks. Seems a very strange thing to be doing.</span>

<span itemprop="description">L'ensemble est magnifique, les couleurs sont beaucoup plus vives que sur les photos.
Pour ma part j'ai opté pour la construction du tableau ultime en combinant 4 sets, le rendu est incroyable !
Je conseille ce set pour tout fan d'Harry Potter et pour ceux qui voudrait mettre en valeur leur set du Chateau de Poudlard.
Certains trouveront peut être le produit trop onéreux, mais les pièces restantes permettront de laisser libre court à votre imagination pour la suite.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this set for the most part. The only thing I do not like about it is how the creators did not take into account are Ravenclaw House colors and mascot. I wish they would have stuck true to the books. The Ravenclaw House colors are blue and bronze with an eagle mascot. Other than that minor detail, it is an amazing set. Eventually I will add all four to create the bigger picture.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My wife needed something to do while she finished a few shows on TV. This fit the bill perfectly. As a huge Lego family, and big fans (well, not me, but the kids and wife), of Harry Potter, it was a no brainer.
It is bigger than you expect, and looks neat when you have it displayed.
The only thing we didn't pay enough attention to was the fact you need 4 identical sets to build the Hogwarts Crest. Oh well. I'm sure I've got a zillion extra studs lying around...</span>

Decided to break it down and do all 4. Love the quality time we spent on it. The only downfall is the pieces are small. <span itemprop="description">Was not sure how this set would be enjoyment wise.. but was pleasantly surprised. Have done griffindor, slytherin , and ravenclaw so far. Very fun to build crests not so much fun to disassemble. But overall enjoy the experience.. have settled on ravenclaw as the colors kinda go with house decor.</span>

It was a teeny bit tedious as it was all primarily tiny studs, but the instructions, as per usual with any LEGO set were clear and concise. Even with that, it was still very easy to build. If I had to come up with a “con” for this set, it would be that you’re only able to build one house crest. It would’ve been super awesome if you could’ve been able to build all 4 of them.</span>

It does take sum of your time to complete a house crest. It is fun to find out what the end result is . Easy to use the legos. Stays in place really well. Easy to take apart . <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat chooses your house, but with the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests kit, you can choose which house you join. Sick of your house? Change it up and displaying a new crest as often as you like.
The kit comes with everything you need to make one of four Hogwarts crests. My 9-year old is very into Harry Potter right now and is a seasoned Lego veteran, so this kit wasn't too challenging for her, but my 6-year old found it a little more difficult. Both kids loved watching each piece of the crest fill in as the design came to life. They're about 3 hours into building and have completed exactly 4 of the 9 squares. I will mention that the pieces come in plastic bags, but the bags are not resealable, so if the project isn't completed in one sitting (and I don't see how it could be regardless of who is doing it), you'll need some plastic bags to store the pieces in. I will mention that this is not a good thing to have out if you have younger kids at home since the pieces are on the smaller side and could be a choking hazard.
Overall, this was a really neat, really fun activity for my little wizards in training. I didn't expect the 6-year old to get into it at all, but he loves helping his sister work on it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just an amazing Lego set for the Harry Potter Fan. It was so easy to make, my 9 year old put it together almost completely by herself. She chose to make the snake crest and it looks so good once complete. You make each panel separate and then connect them. It comes with pieces to build a frame around it, which is the only thing she needed help with. It has two slots on the back as you can hang this up for wall art. It was very easy to follow the instructions and took maybe 2 hours total to put together. I am not sure how hard it would be to pop all those dot Legos off to make a different crest as we have yet to try it. We will most likely keep the snake one. It also came with a qr code to scan so you can listen to the soundtrack while building. Overall I think this is a neat idea for Lego for older kids to do since it hangs on the wall and doesn't take up a lot of space like traditional Legos do.</span>

Automatically downloaded the soundtrack that went along with it. Would not rest until he completed. After completing the Slitherian puzzle, he allowed me to take the picture and tore it all down to start on the next one. I couldn't believe how much fun this brought him. Told me I will need to buy him additional 3 so he can display all 4 Hogwart houses.</span>

While this set is intended for 18+, my 12 year old son was able to complete the build of the Slutherin Crest in a matter of hours. He absolutely enjoyed building this set. I would highly recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan!</span>

I have never seen them before and from what I’ve looked up lego has just started making these so that may be why. I’m 32 and I’ve also never seen anything lego brand say 18+ it made me chuckle a bit. This is very time consuming for me. As all legos are. I’m not really a builder but I still try and love doing things like this with my older boys. It reminds me of a cross between the dot arts and lego building. If you enjoy either this is right up your alley. Having it be Harry Potter themed was an awesome bonus. It’s still a work in progress but I’m hooked. Anyone that enjoys puzzle building, art, legos and of course Harry Potter would love this just as much. They also have a couple other options I saw as well. Def worth the price since you can change it up, use it as decor in a room and redo it however many times you’d like.</span>

The pieces are tiny and may be easy to lose so we put them in a container. It was somewhat challenging but that made all the more fun.</span>
