My 4yr old and 6yr old happily played together for an hour to test this toy out! Two thumbs up from both of them! My kids really loved that you can mix colors together to make either squirly soft serve, or use the scoop to pile up a cone. They really enjoyed being able to "grate" the sprinkles on top of the icecream too. What I love is that it is easy to set up, they can play independently, and use their imagination to create whatever they desire. The best part is that it's a quick and simple cleanup and everything fits easily back in the original box for easy storage. A great addition our kinetic sand collection.

She had played with kinetic sand at school before so she was really excited. I wasn’t sure how long she’d stay engaged with the set, but she wound up playing for over an hour mixing colours and making “treats” for everyone in the house! It reminded me of play dough but what I found really great was the cleanup. We did miss a few pieces of the sand, but unlike play dough that gets kind of sticky, it was easy to sweep up any we missed. It was nice to see the little lady use her imagination & she was all smiles while she played with it. I definitely would recommend kinetic sand to anyone with kids & I’ll likely buy more sets for my granddaughter!

We’ve made many different types of “ice cream” using the scoop and the soft serve style. The “sprinkle maker” is a bonus that shows the designers and makers of this product thought of everything. The design is nice and it’s very easy to use.
I will definitely be buying more kinetic sand so we can have different “flavours” of ice cream.
This is something I can see myself buying for kids birthday presents. 100% recommend this.

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids enjoyed playing with this and mixing the sand together. Once all mixed, it’s a nice purple colour (it would bother me if it turned to a yucky colour). As with other kinetic sand, this one was also relatively easy to clean up. The sand quality was great.. it was able to hold its shape pretty well when you want it to hold a shape but soft enough when you want to get the ice cream melting effect. The apparatus was a bit difficult to use to create a nice looking soft serve like the one on the box. We kept getting the star shape at the top. The kids sometimes couldn’t press the sand down the tube because the sand was too compact. The grater was a neat accessory for making sprinkles but the three molds on the spoon didn’t work too well though. Overall, this was a great toy. I would recommend for young kids. I received this for free in exchange for my honest opinion.</span>
