<span itemprop="name">Portal seems like it is "bricked", it won't pair</span>
<span itemprop="description">This was a lot of fun the first time we used it. We had to update the firmware on the Portal before we could use it the first time. That went fine and we play with it for a couple hours no problem. Second time we played with it things worked for the first 15 minutes then the portal kept losing the connection with my iPhoneXR. Now the Portal "id" on button is stuck in solid blue, but it won't pair with my iPhone. It is not clear how to hard reset the software on the Portal, please post some instructions on this.</span>

Packaging was stylish and clean- my son commented on how fancy it looked.
Setup on my phone and connection to the app was easy and there were no issues with playing via the app alone, the app and the track system or just the track.
My son has gone from playing alone with his hotwheels to running tests and races using my phone. He stops everyone walking by to 'check this out' and it has made his hotwheel set his #1 plaything.
I couldn't be happier with it and neither could my son.</span>

We did receive tracks with it but we have so many already we added alot to our track. My son loved setting up the app but quickly lost interest in the Race Portal. I uploaded on my phone and then it turned into he just wanted to have my phone all the time. This turned into a battle because I am trying to have him off the electronics. I recommend if you dont mind alot of playtime on the phone.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hotwheels toy was fun, well made- the all super cool- but only held the boys attention for a few min as it needed an app to operate( so they needed my phone or their own ) The kids held in there for a few minutes- but were distracted by other apps , texts, music and ended up having more fun just listing to music and driving the cars around on the carpet</span>

However, we were unable to fully test it's effectiveness without the bumper, but both cars scanned great, and the app itself is relatively user friendly. He still has been playing on the app, but without the completed set, he ignored it after a couple of days. We are planning on buying the rest of the set for Christmas however!!</span>
