It is kind of a pain to install and get it tight but it is doable. I will say it is big we had a Ford Bronco Sport and it did not fit well in that car and I could never get it tight enough. We did get a 25 Chevy traverse and it is much easier to install and I can get it tight! So if you have a smaller car this probably is not going to work well for you but if you have a larger SUV it works great! My kid also likes a lot more than his infant seat.
