<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat is a great option for those looking for a good quality, functional and price conscious car seat.
I like the size and weight of the seat. This seat is sturdy but doesn’t weigh too much that it’s hard to move around. The fabric feels nice and it seems like my toddler is very comfortable in it! I absolutely love the one handed seat adjuster that can be used while my child is in the seat so I get the perfect fit easily.
Of course my daughter got the seat dirty within the first week but it proved to not be a problem with an easy to remove seat cover that was able to go in my washing machine. Huge game changer for parents!
Install was simple with easy to follow directions. The level bar provided on the seat made it easy to make sure my child was in the correct position.
This car seat will grow with my toddler saving us money and wasting less!

We’ve had our first one for about 5 years now and it has been great, so I expect this one will be wonderful as well through the years. I love that we’ll never have to buy another seat and this one will adapt into booster seat modes with our youngest as she grows.
Since both kids are now forward facing, it’s easy to have whichever kid wants to ride in the very back, where we have this new 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 located, thanks to the super easy removal of the insert for 40 lbs and above. 2 snaps, one on each side and the insert is in for our youngest or out for our middle child. With the one handed head rest/seat belt adjustment, the kids can easily switch who rides where in a matter of seconds.
Since the middle child is used to her 4Ever DLX 4-in-1, she tested this one out too, and said it’s just as comfortable, if not more than the one she’s been in for 5 years.
I also love the fabric is advertised as quick and easy removal and is machine washable as the youngest tends to get car sick often so we’re taking car seats apart on a fairly regular basis.

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, it's easy to unwrap and figure out. Not being my first car seat, things are where you expect them to be and it's easy to adjust.
Because of the large differential of ages that can use the seat, it's structured in a layered insert format, where a baby grows you remove another insert. At first glance this seemed flimsy, but once you inspect the inserts and pieces he realized that it's actually well engineered and several of the inserts are semi-rigid, not just soft foam. Although I probably wouldn't put a newborn in this, and would still opt for a car carrier, once they outgrow that in a few months this is perfect.
The fabric that gets the messiest, the bottom, can be removed and reinstalled in a couple seconds with a simple pull of a couple velcro tabs. I also have other car seats that are double the price of this and the fabric is more difficult to remove on those. The fabric on the back and around the head isn't quite as easy to remove, but not difficult by any means. Considering how infrequently you'll remove the headrest and back padding for cleaning, compared to the bottom, no big deal at all.
Overall, it's a great car seat and the fact that it can one day convert into a booster makes it a great long-term investment.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old so I’ve installed and used many car seats. However, this may be my favorite seat yet. It’s safe and sturdy while not being as heavy as my other seats. The install is incredibly easy with both the anchors and the seatbelt for both rear facing and forward facing. It’s not too big or bulky and fits nicely behind my seats rear facing in both my sedan and SUV. The fabric is soft and breathable and such a lovely color. My favorite part about the cover is the little harness clip holders on the sides of the seat to make getting my kids in quicker. No more digging out the harness clips from behind my kids. The cup holders are removable for easy cleaning. The rapid remove cover was a lifesaver when my 2 year old spilled her juice. No worrying about trying to remember how you took the cover off to be able to get it back on properly like some seats. The height of the seat can easily be adjusted with one hand. For the recline function I do need to use both hands. For both functions the handles are easily accessible. I honestly can’t find any cons to this seat. I prefer it over my other seat for my 2 year old and my 6 year old says it’s now his favorite seat. Overall, it’s an amazingly crafted car seat. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a forever car seat that not only grows with your kid, but keeps them comfortable and safe the whole way.</span>

I love fuction/idea of having a car seat that grows with your child. I feel as though if gives you the most longevity and bang for your buck. However I wasn't totally impressed with the exicution from converting the carseat from rear facing (which is how it comes) to forward facing. Specifically, moving the anchor latches into another position for forward facing, as well as moving the button buckle. I have used other car seat brands that do a better job of making these processes easier. Once I got the seat in the correct setting it was very easy to adjust it to my child for a comfortable fit. I was also impressed with the extra hip padding for the the forward facing option I have never seen that before and felt as though my child was very comfortable with having them there and more secure. The overall padding of the cushions throughout were especially nice as well. I do wish they would have used the neoprene fabric on the actual seat part that the child sits on. I just find neoprene to be easier to wipe down and over all a softer fabric. Some of my favorite features were the quick removable cover it was perfect to pop out the bottom to shake out any crumbs for a quick clean. Also the fuss free harness holders on the side worked great. I did like how easy the cup holders can be removed but my toddler figured that out in no time and those were being thrown around the car. Overall nice product and good quality.</span>

It is lighter weight than some of the others we have tried, yet it will last us for years!! Usually the car seats that move the years with you are heavier and more bulky than this. The fact that it isn't bulky is great, as we have two kids under 3. The material is a great texture, not too hard and itchy, but also seemingly soft but not the kind of "soft" that will stain easily. The straps are comfortable and the cushioning is fantastic for my 16 month old. The material is already easy to clean and the fact that you can take it off and throw it in the wash is even better. It was an easy install, so it will be easy to move into my husband's or baby sitters car if needed. I really love the fact that this seat will lead all the way up to when our youngest is a little kid and not just a toddler or infant. The cupholders are easy to take out and clean, which is definitely a plus with a messy toddler.
Overall, this is a 5 star product. It's easy to clean, install, and relocate. The gray color scheme is also great as it won't get hot like a black color and it won't stain as easily with a lighter color. My toddler definitely seems comfortable in it so it will be great for those long summer car rides. Great product!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely obsessed with our new Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat. How I'm a mom of 4 and didn't know this seat existed is beyond me. Having this seat would've literally saved us thousands of dollars. My hands down favorite feature is of course the fact that this car seat with last us 10 years and will grow with our children starting from the rear facing stage, all the way to a backless booster. I have children ranging in age from 2 years to 7 years so I can currently use this car seat at each stage. Normally, that would be nearly impossible with installation and all of the time consuming/difficult adjustments, but Graco made this car seat extremely easy to both install and adjust. Having the headrest and no rethread harness be able to adjust together in one movement is incredibly helpful. Graco even included a harness storage compartment! I love that this car seat offers a 10 position headrest to ensure a proper/comfortable fit for each little one. An added safety measure I really appreciate is the anchor latch that you can hear click into place so there's no question at all if the seat is securely installed. A feature I had to see to believe was having the ability to remove the cover to wash in 1 minute without having to uninstall the seat. I was completely blown away as it actually took less than 60 seconds. I have never ever had a car seat with a cover that easy to remove. Thankfully, there have been no spills etc and we haven't had to wash it yet but that time will quickly come and having this feature will truly be a lifesaver. All of my children have tried the car seat and not one of them complained about being uncomfortable . The seat offers plenty of cushion and support. They all especially enjoy the 2 cup holders, I for snack and 1 for drink. Graco did an exceptional job keeping both little one and parent/caregiver in mind when they made this seat. I will never use another car seat and this will be my go to baby shower/new parent gift. This is by far the best baby related product I've ever owned! One of the best things about the 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat is that it works for both our 2-year-old and our 4-year-old. We love that it easily adjusts to different sizes, which is especially helpful when grandparents are helping to pick up the kids! They can use the same seat to safely transport either kid without needing to swap anything out. It gives us peace of mind knowing it’s secure and safe for either kid.
The seat looks great, and the fabric feels nice and breathable—perfect for longer car rides to the cabin on weekends. Our kids seem super comfy in it, and we really love the built-in cup holders. They lock into place, so they don’t get knocked off easily, and our 2-year-old can actually reach her water bottle in them on her own. The only small issue we noticed is the strap covers near the neck—they feel a little scratchy, but nothing too bothersome.
Adjusting the seat was way easier than we expected. It only takes a minute or two to get it set up for whichever kid is riding, which has made things way more convenient for us.
One small challenge has been the release button for the shoulder straps. It’s located under the fabric, and the strap cord sits right on top of it, so it takes a little extra effort to press and release. Not a dealbreaker at all, just something to get used to.
And finally—cleaning this car seat is very easy. Because it’s simple to take off and put back on, we actually clean it more often. With summer coming up and all the sand, snacks, and sweat that come with it, we’re really glad this part is hassle-free.
Overall, this car seat checks all the boxes for us—it’s safe, easy to use!</span>

However, this is the same car seat we use for my two year old, just an older version. It literally checks all the boxes for us. We have very tall boys but my toddler still fits comfortably rear facing in his, and this model is even more comfortable! We love that it has the ability to grow through all the stages of childhood, it’s the only car seat we’ll ever need! It’s also incredibly easy to adjust and switch from one car to another. The padding is very soft, and very cushioned and I love the steel reinforcement as safety and comfort are two of my biggest concerns with picking a car seat. Having the quick remove cover is just icing on the cake! Messes in the car seat are inevitable, but it makes them much less stressful being able to remove the cover without having to take out the whole seat. My only concern would be if you have a small car, it is a pretty bulky seat! We have a full sized SUV with a third row and fit two of these seats rear facing with plenty of room in the middle. There’s really no other car seat I’d rather use! It’s hands down everything I could want and more!</span>

With all of my kids still in car seats, I’ve tried a lot of car seats—and the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 is hands-down my favorite.
What I love most is that this seat grows with my kids. From 4 to 120 lbs…That’s incredible! I can start using it with my youngest child as a rear-facing infant seat, and not have to worry about replacing it year after year. I’m already envisioning it sticking with us all the way through booster stage, which saves money, time, and the headache of re-shopping.
The fabric is plush but breathable—no sweaty backs even after long drives. The inserts give my smaller kiddos a snug, secure fit without looking squished, and they are easy to remove for the older ones. Every one of my kids has seemed super comfy in it.
Adjusting the harness and headrest is so simple. No re-threading anything—just a quick squeeze and lift. That’s a big deal when you’ve got four squirmy kids and you’re doing everything one-handed. I can get a proper, safe fit for each child in seconds, which gives me peace of mind.
The quick-remove, machine-washable cover is a total game changer. My little ones spill in their car seats all the time! I love that I can just pop off the cover, throw it in the wash, and have it back on in no time—without uninstalling the whole seat.
If you’re a parent constantly on the go like I am, the Graco 4Ever DLX is absolutely worth it. It’s safe, super easy to use, and built to last.

I can use it with my three week old and also my 14 month old. I received this product as a gift from Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am extremely thankful. This car seat was so easy to install, and the machine washable fabric was really easy to take out and clean after my three week old had a blowout (iykyk). I also love that I can recline it back for when my oldest falls asleep. I love that both of my kids seem extremely comfortable while in this car seat. As you know, most kids don’t like their car seats and that isn’t the case with this one.
The photos attached to my review don’t do this beautiful car seat justice, and my son isn’t buckled in, but it gives you a glimpse of the comfortability and of them multiple adjustments available. 10/10 recommend!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this seat via the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was excited to give it a go. We've been big Graco fans for awhile (infant car seat, stroller, pack and play, etc.) but I needed to upgrade my daughter's seat, so it was great timing. The material feels more luxurious than my son's Graco seat. I'm not sure how different they are in terms of overall quality (we bought his 3 years ago and it's also a convertible one), but it certainly felt like there's way more padding in this one. My daughter loved sitting in it even just in our kitchen after we took it out of the packaging, so she's obviously a big fan in the car. No buckling drama over here!
It was easy for my husband to put it in the car, and he was a big fan of the clip to keep the attachment pieces from swinging around whenever we remove it to travel (it's been a huge nuisance in the past when lugging car seats through the airport and keep getting hit in the leg with the car buckling portion).
As a mom of two, I love that I can rely on this seat for the long haul (i.e. many years to come), and I love that the machine-washable cover means I'm ready to tackle the inevitable (i.e. accidents of all sorts, as well as overall wear and tear).</span>

<span itemprop="description">Update: confirmed the DLX was refreshed to meet the new FMVSS 213a standards. Product should have removable pads for kids in the 20-40 lb range.
Surprised to see the 4Ever DLX was refreshed recently. I ordered one in April 2025 and received a car seat manufactured in February 2025. Noticed a few new features: 2 inserts now that stack on each other and are very plush (20lbs and then 40 lbs), head insert is plusher, seatbelt convenience holsters were moved to the outside. I was expecting the car seat to be the same thing my older kid uses (manufactured in 2021)</span>

We first got one for our son 2 years ago and refused to buy any other kind for our second! The fact that we don’t have to worry about buying another car seat for the duration of them being in one should be the selling point on its own but the snuglock feature makes us feel like the seat is 100 times safer for our babies. Would recommend this to every single person looking for a car seat for their growing baby/toddler</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this car seat for my Son and he’s 5 now it’s still going strong!! I can’t wait to use it in the next stages like backless booster seat. It’s worth the money and washes easily. It was the most heavy duty/safest car seat I could find and that gives me peace of mind when driving in this crazy world.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Ever since I bought this product you can’t pull the cord to tighten the shoulder straps. I just recently blew my shoulder out using this seat. Literally standing on top of the seat with my daughter in it and couldn’t get it tight enough. Even without a child in the seat you need like 100lbs of pulling force to tighten the shoulder straps.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Purchased this for my grandkids and it looks like a quality product. Easy to install and appears safe for the little ones. Only issue I have so far is how much rattling there is from this product. Lots of loose buckles and rollers that make the car ride a noisy one even without the kids in the car. Will need to wrap all loose buckles with rubber tape to quiet it down.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Best graco carseat hands down! Easiest to install and easiest to remove and reinstall on the fly if needed. The cover comes off quick and is easy to put back on in case of accidental messes. The size is perfect for both my husbands truck as well as my jeep grand cherokee. We also love that it can be used for so long for our kids! This is our 3rd of this same carseat and we love it!! We also have the extend to fit 3 in 1 which i dont think is made anymore. We like that carseat and its great, no complaints at all, we just love this one more!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have car seats in two vehicles to carry two Grandsons. I bought them one at a time over the recent 5-6 years. All 4 of them are the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat. I have used them rear facing, forward facing, with latch anchors and now with seat belts. There is a reason I have 4 of the same car seat. They do everything very well. Eventually I will use them as high back booster seats then no back booster seats. What more do you want or need:)</span>
