I had a bunch of babiesrus gift cards from my baby shower and decided to combine them all to purchase this swing. At first, it was great. Easy to assemble at 38 weeks pregnant. I threw out the box and waited for my baby boy to arrive. After days of using it, the swing just stopped working. It does not swing on the setting that is selected and will randomly stop out of nowhere which is a huge safety hazard. It also makes an obnoxiously loud sound when it is on. My husband called fisher price expressing our concern and they sent a new motor. We were so excited and thought that it would fix all of our issues. We waited WEEKS for this motor. My baby is now two months old and we finally received the new motor. We put it on today and the motor seems to be refurbished? It is worse than the motor we had before. Absolutely unbelievable. Don't waste your money on this swing and just purchase something cheaper that actually works. It is soft and cute. He always fell asleep with it. But there was a HUGE issue with the mobile. Something inside of it would get stuck and make clunking noises. This started out only sometimes but became progressively worse for the 6 months we used it. The kicker here is that our lamb swing wasn't the only one which did this. Our friends have the same one and it did the same. I suspect all or many have this issue and it's honestly disheartening that it's knowingly sold with this problem. As a result, we often had to turn the mobile off so he could sleep. That's basically killing a feature. The moving soft lambs gave him something to look at. But we often had to turn them off. The star lights still worked and the music was great. But for the mobile issue, certainly not worth the price.
