I think I love this toy more than my children and they are OBSESSED with this item. I picked this up during the Christmas holiday of 2021 when I was browsing a target store and noticed this toy on a display. I initially walked passed it but made an immediate u-turn because of the bright images on the box and the overall presentation. Initially I thought there&rsquo;s no need for such toy and left without it. But then This toy haunted me for two days, I was without a SANTA gift and all I could think about was how this would brighten my sons Christmas. This particular year was tough for him since his dad moved away for work and he felt like he lost a best friend so I wanted to end the year on a positive note. So I went back packed this huge box in my car, drove home and hid this toy DEEP in a closet which was difficult because of the size. Christmas Day comes and the reaction I received was priceless! This toy is nothing short of amazing. The details are phenomenal, the figures, the lights, the ability to store multiple Batman&rsquo;s, the helicopter pad, the vehicle park, the villain cages like the possibilities are endless. I absolutely love the Batman symbol in the sky feature. This toy is one of the most detailed toys I&rsquo;ve seen/purchased. The hours of play is equivalent to leaving a baby to watch cocomelon. We&rsquo;ve had this toy approximately two years now and the durability is top tier! I&rsquo;ve had my 2 year old climb this toy like King Kong daily and it withstands the power forces of his hits and weight. It&rsquo;s almost indestructible. Best of all my kids never lost their interest in this toy. Honestly we will probably keep for a third year or more depending on the kids but this is one purchase I would buy several times again. So much to do.</span> <span itemprop="description">Since I have two-4 year old grandsons in different families,&nbsp; I had to buy two of these for Christmas. They both loved theirs.&nbsp; It's one of those toys both boys keep coming back to. First of all, it's huge. That could be a problem if you have really limited toy space. But, it does fold up when not in use,&nbsp; so it can be easily tucked into a corner, when needed. There is so much they can do with this cave, it does a great job at keeping them entertained. I think with the sounds, the computer and way it all lights up, it makes the kinds feel like they really are in the Batcave. The Batsuit vault and the Bat signal are being used constantly, and definite favorites. Although it may seem a little&nbsp; on the pricey side for a toy, there are so many things included to play with,&nbsp; that it helps to keep the little ones occupied and gives them an outlet to use their imaginations. Every Christmas for the last 3 years we buy our 6 yr old the hot new Imaginext batman toy (2019 was remote controlled batcar, 2018 the batbot) and this year was no exception with the super batcave. At first I wasn't thrilled about the expensive price tag ($150). But I waited for a sale and paid $125. Let me say he and his 3 year old brother absolutely love this batcave. It has provided hours of fun. My 6 year old was even able to follow the instructions himself to put it together I just had to help him with the screws. This product is just as good of quality and what you would expect from imaginext. They love the lights and sounds with the bat computer and all the characters to play with. The jail, elevator, launcher, bat signal and clothes changer all make for more fun interactive play. I love that it folds in such a way to put it out of the way more easily when needed. The boys can incorporate all the other imaginext batman toys they have with this playset to really have a good time. I didn't like that we had to purchase batteries or the hefty price tag but overall they love it and it keeps them entertained. The only real problem was that the back piece that connected both sides was bent , but I got it in and it still sorta worked . Only other problem is the thing that holds the batsuits , it doesn't fit all batsuits mainly a few of the older 2008-2013 figures but it fits most of them . Either than that its great but the thing under the bat computer is kinda useless . But great figures and great play features . I still haven't gotten all the sounds because they're so many . Okay so first off I REALLY wanted to love this, the box &amp; little promo video makes it seem super cute &amp; an amazing toy! Well, let&rsquo;s just say I was EXTREMELY disappointed by this product... Especially for $150! I&rsquo;ll start off with I am really let down by the quality of his imaginext toy, my son has LOTS of other imaginext toys &amp; none were this poor in quality, I can practically knock this over with my finger, it is extremely wobbly especially the smaller side you screw on.. Speaking of this side of the cave, when you open the cages it is hard to turn &amp; when you do turn it this whole side acts like it&rsquo;s going to tumble over.. also why does it open all three of the cages &amp; not close them ? Very annoying. Why don&rsquo;t the cages move, so then you can push them down the drop into all three cages/jails..? Another thing on this part of the cave is the stand up turn things, now this is pretty cool &amp; I like how it lights up above, BUT half the characters don&rsquo;t even fit on there &amp; fall off when you turn it.? Sooo not cool! Okay, off to the main part of the cave.. The panel board with the buttons is really neat, I love that there are multiple buttons &amp; phrases, the lights change for different characters so that is also pretty neattooo! Down sides... what is under the panel? I know the one piece you put his bat hood/helmet (which doesn&rsquo;t even fit that well!), but the big part I think is a little unnecessary.? I feel like it should be open there? Whatever it is supposed to be is just taking up play space on the cave.? Now the turn blue thing that swings down? What is that even for? It says &lsquo;tune up&rsquo; but it&rsquo;s not like a tool? Is it supposed to push the bat car down the ramp??? If so it doesn&rsquo;t do a good job of it whatsoever... and the weapons? Again only fits half the hands &amp; are hard to put in others.. what is the long piece that has the two openings? Hand cuffs? Doesn&rsquo;t fit very well &amp; fall off.. also this has the pieces that snap together all the top seem to be showing so I feel it makes the product seem unfinished almost? Again just takes up space everywhere on the cave.. I see other reviews of 5 STARS, but all received the product for FREE! Gee if I would have gotten something for free I would put 5 stars too, but I didn&rsquo;t.. I paid $150 for a toy that isn&rsquo;t up to imaginext standards to me.. if my son didn&rsquo;t enjoy it I would have only given 2 stars &amp; probably taken back to get something else!! The Batcave comes completely disassembled which does initially look quite daunting but turned out to be very straightforward. The instruction manual gives good, clear instructions which are very easy to follow. It tells you to allow 30 minutes for the assembly but it took us around 20-25 minutes. You will also need 4 C batteries which are not included. Before starting to build, I did quickly check that all the parts were there. The parts are all shown at the beginning of the manual and I was slightly confused by the fact that Batman was already wearing his mask. The figure and mask are shown separately but are together. All of the figures and other smaller pieces come in separate small bags which made them easy to find and keep separate until needed. Following the step by step instructions, each piece clicked securely into the next. The structure felt sturdy from the beginning and continued to feel that way as it was built up higher. There are a couple of pieces which need to be screwed into place, which is very easy to do and all the screws are provided. When joining the two halves together I did get a little confused with a piece that was already inside the edge that joins to the other. There is a grey piece of plastic inside the joining edge which needs to be there to take the screws that join the second piece of the Batcave to the first. (Don't be tempted to remove it and then find it needs to be in place like I did). The connectors for the sound clip in easily and are completely covered for safety using the remaining screws (7 in total). The finishing touch to the build is the canopy which really completes the look of this Batcave. The battery housing is found behind the control panel and has an on/of switch which allows you to adjust the volume between low and high, which is always a bonus. The buttons on the control panel have so many voices and phrases. This set comes with 3 villains, Joker, Mr Freeze and Catwoman but has 3 other villain buttons which means that you can add figures to this set which can interact with it. The turntables by the jail cells and the Batman suit walls also have sound effects and phrases which adds so much to the play and enjoyment of this Batcave. The jail turntable also controls the doors of the cells which is a really nice touch. There is also a cannon with ammunition which can be mounted in a couple of places around the Batcave and some other weapons which have their own specific places to clip into the walls of the Batcave. Perfect for keeping them safe (as long as little one remembers). A couple of other little things which I think make this Batcave an impressive toy is that there are hand holds and steps around the sides and back of both sides which all the figures can grab on to. The control panel with the Batseat is an impressive part of the Batcave, not only because of all the phrases and sounds but also because there is a Bat signal which shines onto the moon on the canopy. This I feel is a really lovely touch. I really feel that this Batcave is a great toy.
