<span itemprop="description">The seat I received was manufactured 14 months ago. I expect my child seats to be fresher than that. I purchased this because of my experience with a seat I purchased in 2017, the "Evenflo Symphony Elite All-in-1", which my oldest child is still using as a booster. When I purchased that seat it had been manufactured less than 2 months prior to it being delivered.
These seats are made of plastic, which makes me wonder under what conditions they were stored for well over 1 years. If it was stored in a hot warehouse in a hot climate, that probably impacted the integrity of the plastic components.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am a Child Safety Seat Technician. This car seat is fantastic. I bought it for my third grandchild to ride in once he outgrows his infant seat. Well we found that it is so versatile!
I installed this seat in their other car. Everyone is still rear-facing so the 3 year old, the one year old and the 2 month old all can ride in this seat very easily.
The harness adjustment is so nice. We just put the child in, slide the harness down below his/her shoulders, tighten it and they are ready to go.
The crank tightener on the lower anchor system is great.
The 3 year old (and parents) love the red color.
I highly recommend.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have two of these car seats. We bought them for my now 7 y/o son when he was 2 so have had them for awhile. Overall the seat itself is great and until last week I was still using it as he has another 5-6 inches to go before he maxes out the height in booster mode. BUT, I had to stop using it because the back top tether came unbuckled. This made the seat almost tip over and my oldest daughter had to hold onto the seat as I was driving so it wouldn’t do that. Thankfully I had a backless booster at home from my daughter so he’s now using it instead. Also, over the years the styrofoam has cracked twice in two different spots. Evenflo quickly sent replacement styrofoam and ensured me that the cracked styrofoam didn’t affect the safety of the seat itself. If I had to give this seat a grade I’d probably go with a B.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This carseat was affordable when I bought it and on a safest car seat list. As for the safety, which is my number one concern, I hope I don't have to find out if it's good. As for everything else I am very disappointed. After the first wash all the padding had bunched up and after fighting it I cannot straighten it out! It looks very uncomfortable. Also no matter how tight i get the straps my daughter can still slide down which does not seem safe at all. I have had it a year and it looks more worn than my 4 year olds car seat. And the Styrofoam has cracked, hopefully that isn't a safety concern as well. The quick release are nice but not worth the other issues</span>

Well not so much any more because it keeps getting stuck and it’s impossible to get it undone. They told us they’d send us a new one, but it’s been months and we still haven’t received a new one and just today the handle of the ratchet broke off. It hasn’t even been a year yet and it’s already falling apart. Please don’t buy this because all it will do is give you a headache.</span>

Very easy to set up, he seems very comfortable, and very sturdy. Would definitely buy again.</span>

It's a nice idea for the expandable band, but that means there is no lip to hold anything other than a cup and my toddler loves to put things in his cupholder. Now anything he puts in there just falls right out.</span>

Instruction show to roll a towel then put below the bottom of the seat in the front closest to the seat and ratchet it down to help it sit back further but it should actually have a mechanism in the actual seat to lift it or put it down as not to have to roll a towel to recline further</span>

HOWEVER, I have bucket seats in my car and this car seat just does not recline enough, I swapped out my Graco for this as the other would fit in my husbands truck better… but I do not love this car seat. I will say the feature of padding over the thighs is a huge plus though.</span>

Keeps my oldest (3yo & 30lbs rear facing for a bit longer! Yay!!)
My youngest (13m) is having a hard time adjusting to the new seat, but have no reason to believe it’s not going to be perfect for her too.
We drive a 2021 Kia shortage & the both fit in the back seat, with little room left in the middle seat. Exactly what we need for our family.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Purchased one of these 8 years ago for my oldest, and when the time came to get a convertible car seat for my second child I knew without a doubt I wanted another symphony DLX. No other car seat compares to it and the price is amazing. The easy latch system, convenient strap adjusting, and comfortable fit for baby are just a few of the reasons I love it. Not sure if they are doing away with it (don’t do that!) or why it was hard to get in any color other than the one I ordered, but this will always be what I recommend to anyone.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Cat seat is super cushiony and it looks comfortable but it would be so much better if it had more recline positions. Also, the headrest part is super wobbly and loose.</span>

Did anyone get a seat that was manufactured quite some time ago and basically will expire within the year? We recently ordered from a different store and the sticker was 6/13 which meant it expires 6/21. Want to make sure these are newer before I order.

Super easy! It comes right off and can be machine washed and you can vacuum out the hard parts. Both my kids got car sick when rear facing so I've washed my seats (I have 3 of these!) many times.
