Called the company and there was some user error initially with heating the bottle with green inserts and shaking formula rather than stirring. However, even after changing these factors, we still cracking and breaking. Honestly, if I didn't want to keep changing the nipple on my daughter I would switch brands. First time, without shaking out the remaining water/condensation. Second time, shook every single bottle and pieces until no more droplets of water. Still, will not completely dry overnight. I'm better off going back to the old fashion way of boiling to sterilize. In the end, boiling is faster and dries everything. I would not recommend this to family or friends. This reduces the temperatures like insulation, and impossible to remove without complete disassembly, and chipping it off. Simply coating this disc with Teflon, or manufacturing a container between it and the water would prevent this. My son would be soaked afterwards. I researched online and found that we needed to mix the bottle without the vent so I bought a few more travel caps and used them when mixing. That still didn't work. I've tried taking the vent system out but the nipple just collapses. My daughter had problems drinking from any other bottle or breastfeeding for months so we're confident the bottles helped her grown and come home faster. As she's gotten older, we don't need the vent system and so love the options bottles so we can keep with the same brand without needing to use the vents (they are a lot of extra cleaning but was worth it for all the early benefits!). We never had leaking problems with neosure formula as long as we followed bottle directions.
